They have started targeting Indians too since last year. I have been contacted by a person to attend their free bible class and since I was asking somany questions, they started conducting one to one sessions and then I started searching such teachings on Internet and found this SCJ. When I asked who are you, they were trying to escape and deleted their Facebook page and telegram groups which was promoting this teaching. I am now looking out to save the fellow students from this teaching.
Sadly this cult has a long history of doing this type of deceptive recruitment. They're now starting to become sort of open about who they are (depending on the region you're in), but, if one has the highest truth, why the need to propagate it through lies? Sure, there is a time and place for everything, but whenever Jesus or the Disciples spoke, they spoke openly and boldly about the word. Jesus did it so many times, while also claiming to be God, to the point that he was crucified.

They claim to be holy and wise people, but only God is perfect. They are merely teaching the words of God from the Bible, but they claim that only they can teach people the Bible. It’s so messed up. Granted, I learned a lot from the class while I was in it, but the spiritual price you pay is too high in the end. They claim they’re doing the work of God, but they’re verbally bashing any church that’s not Shincheonji. May God have mercy on them and rescue those who are ignorant of their lies. I joined this Bible Class online and I'm not super deep into it , but after watching many videos like yours I'm fleeing from this. I've only done a few classes and they're focusing on the parables. I reached out to one of the teachers asking where they get the teachings from so we'll see what she says.
They were attacking me from not going to enlist because I’m busy with my personal relationship and commitments to my local church. Saying it’s more important to know about what’s to come than my personal relationship in knowing who God is. I hate that church. So entitled and manipulative as if they’re so special.
Someone just invited me to an online Bible study of this cult, glad I researched some. It didn't take very long for me to know it was a cult when I saw this statement saying the Shincheonji and its congregation are the only ones between heaven and earth who have mastered the bible.
I studied for 3 months with them, everything was sound for the first 12 studies but it started to get strange when I was told "in order to be saved I needed to take a 2 year class to understand the entire book of revelations." That was the obvious sign to leave after alot of prayer and personal studying. 🙏
@@anonymousone6922 so one way they get you to doubt your faith is to ask biblical questions that you don't know the answer to. So they asked me questions that I didn't know so I prayed that God may show me these answers without thier "secret knowledge " and as I read the Bible I would stumble across the answers 4 times by mistake. That was my sign that I don't need them I just need to trust God's word.
A pity that you did not give yourself chance to hear the whole course. Even after attending one time, you will still not get it 100%, and yet you quit at 3 months.

I’ve been in this Bible study for 4+ months and decided to leave a few days ago. I still cannot process the deception and manipulation. I shared so much about myself , I feel betrayed. I tried having a conversation with one of the people who was running a booth in public to draw people in. They hid that they were Shincheonji until I asked about it, which is very common. Anyway, I talked to someone for almost an hour... I got the number for the person I spoke with to try to talk to her, more... I think the questions I asked her were making her think... I asked her if people who didn't go to Shincheonji could go to Heaven. Of course, this would mean that the only people who can get to Heaven are people who follow Lee Man-hee, their claimed "promised pastor." That's the hallmark of a cult... If someone didn't like the church I went to, I'd say, "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you find a church that you like. I can show you some others around the area that I think you would like more." These people would never accept someone leaving... That's part of why they change the name so much.

And yet, SCJ has changed their fulfillment of Revelation multiple times. Let's start out with the most recent set of changes: SCJ used to teach that there were only 2 wars in Revelation (Rv 13, Rv 12), and they now teach that there are 3 wars (Rv 13, 12, 16) SCJ used to teach that everything up to Rev 19 was fulfilled (The Physical Fulfillment of Revelation, pages 409, 432), but due to the COVID 19 situation, backpeddled and now claim that Rev 16 (gathering of the kings for Armaggedon) and Rv 18 (God carrying out direct judgement of Babylon) are no longer fulfilled. SCJ used to teach that first the 144,000 kingdom and priests will be sealed and selected before the winds blew on the earth (aka the Great Tribulation), and then updated and changed the doctrine once the Great Tribulation (COVID-19) started and is now claiming that the sealing of the 144k + Great Tribulation can happen simultaenously. Those who return to their own understanding of the Bible after attending these Bible lessons, have all 1 thing in common: they give all sorts of explanations why they quit but none can explain properly what the 'errors' are, why it is so and what should be the correct understanding of these scriptures. I have seen and heard what has been said but my view of these is this: The scripture can not be broken, and all scripture was spoken and given by God. Because you dont know something, does this mean you dont need to understand this? You have to understand everything, for example, dont you need to understand what the tree of life is and where it is? If you dont know this, is it okey? I was able to learn from Scj what and where thus tree is, can this pastor tell you this? Can he interpret the book of Revelation? Does he know when it will be fulfilled or what has been fulfilled?

Also another fun fact: Due to failed prophecies, MHL and SCJ had to update their doctrines to match with the current times. @All born beauty all I know is the truth of God’s word is being taught to all students and they simply allow God’s word to guide and lead the students. They don’t instigate, they don’t manipulate but allow God’s word to speak for God. And the student decides if this is really of God. In our physical earthly family, we share everything because we say blood is thicker than water. Yet not in the spiritual family of God where we are going to live together for eternity. Just as a father and mother will communicate with each other about the children, whether good or bad things, for the purpose of helping the children to grow, to nurture to help them to train them for life, similarly this is exactly what the task-given workers in SCJ do, we call them the "leaves". My leaves do just that. The brother who evangelised me is much younger than me but spiritually more advanced. He is one of my leaves. And I was also given a sister who is slightly older than me but spiritually also more advanced. All this time when i was a spiritually baby to this revealed word attending classes, they have been praying for me, loving me, gently rebuking me, patiently helping me to overcome myself, the world and the evil one, always there for me just as parents should be for children. Yes I found out that they did share stuff with my teachers but it was always for my own good so that they can help me out to grow in my faith in God. I really really appreciate them. And till today we speak almost every day. They have been so important in my faith journey. To the pure all will be pure, to the impure all will be impure. Jesus and his disciples were together day in day out every single day. Do you not think they share and discuss how to help other people? Do you not think Jesus would dispense advice? The book of John 21:25 says if all are written down what Jesus did, there is no room for books in the world. During Moses' time where he had to lead millions, do you not think the leaders he appointed would not be busy with the many adminstration/reports etc that the people would bring in? Is this just because people had nothing to do so they were gossipping? No! It is so as to help everyone to participate in the kingdom of God according to God's standard written in the scriptures. And if anyone has any question about how the Kingdom of God is run, communicate with the leaders and seek understanding. Rather than runaway quietly and gossip online about it. Yeah. To be honest, I decided not to go into the Revelation class anymore, which started last week. I talked to my TA and the Bible study instructor. I told them that I needed time to research into Lee Man-hee and what he’s all about.

@@rdo4609 I was with them for 4 months or so, so I had finished the beginner’s and intermediate’s classes with them. However, after the end of the intermediate class, the instructor met one-on-one with me to let me know certain things before going into the Revelation class. That was when she brought up Lee Man-hee. After our meeting, I decided to read about him and I realised that I had even seen him on TV during the Covid pandemic. His church was accused of spreading the virus, although he was not found guilty eventually. Reading about him and his Church, let’s just say I wasn’t convinced. I always doubted but the final nail in the coffin for me was when they claimed that the Comforter (Holy Spirit) Jesus Christ promised to his disciples in John 14:26 wasn’t received by the disciples, but rather Lee Man-hee. In context, the verse is about the disciples receiving the Holy Spirit which they did on the Day of Pentecost. So, when they claimed that it was rather Lee Man-hee who received that promise, I knew I was about to quit the class. The funny thing is, I had a one-on-one discussion with the instructor about the Comforter, and she realised that I was right. Yet, in the subsequent class, she kept on referring to the Comforter in relation to Lee Man-hee.

Hello Mike - freedom of religion is not what you think. Freedom of religion is for the "state" i.e. Gov't not to infringe upon religious liberty of individuals. Freedom of religion doesn't mean that you can't expose the false teachings of religious groups. All SCJ needs to do is be open and honest about what they believe and will teach from the beginning. Unfortunately, SCJ is not. SCJ members openly lie about what they believe even when asked. For example, I asked what church is this - they responded by saying non-denominational. This is blatantly false.

@@mikesanchez504 Sadly, the 100,000 who studied have been deceived. This is why this testimony is so valuable. Read 2nd Corinthians 11 when you get a chance. SCJ teaches the "new wine", when the Bible says we are not supposed to accept a "different" or "new" gospel than what Paul was preaching (1st Corinthians 15). The gospel Paul preached was obviously not the fulfillment of Revelation. The gospel is Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and was raised to life.
Why do you think God brought you to that church? I was part of the church for two years and I still questions why did He do this. I cant even read the bible anymore or and i rarely pray now. When i do pray i feel like im talking to a wall
Hey A. Stewart. I believe God is sovereign and that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose (Rom. 8:28). Believe it or not, I’m grateful that God used my pastor to help me see the deception of this group. I can say that since then I have used more discernment when listening to people talk about the Bible. It has also motivated me to read and know the Bible more for myself. I’m sorry to hear that you’re going through this dark period but I know God is faithful and that when we draw near to Him in prayer and in His word He will reveal Himself.
I've read a pdf files that were distributed among our evangelical missionaries churches here in Indonesia and Malaysia. They think their founder are John incarnate that Jesus anointed. They also teaches that their leader Lee Man Hee is the only one that have full authority on the Bible. They also believe that the new Jerusalem will be at Gwacheon, Korea. Aside that, the 144000 people in revelations will be the Shincheonji group members with Lee Man Hee as their leader. They also have 12 tribes of Shincheonji. There's a video in their RU-vid channel showing their 12 tribes graduates.
The one who believe God and Jesus will never believe in Shincheonji. If you listened their lecture and examine the scripture to prove if it is true, you will never say that shincheonji is Cult. Before I joined to shincheonji, I had been searching the word of truth in different church, when I joined shincheonji, I found that they teach according to God's Will. @@mikesanchez504 I actually did. I was quite pacient, stayed pretty long to give it the benefit of the doubt. The lessons were quite good and presented well by my groups teacher, but when they showed us a sermon of Man Hee Lee I was very disappointed. What made me most certain (at that time) of the fact that SCJ is just another sect is how they treat people with doubts, people who left.
Allot of this information is wrong..lol you have to pay attention to what they speak about. Your former Church isn't bad.. But they can't explain the whole Bible like S does. We must work towards our salvation and forgiveness of sins..it doesn't come easy.. God puts in the work, why can't we..

@All born beauty you just have to listen to the words they teach and compare it with the standard of truth (the Bible) and then decide if you believe or not. God never forced anyone to believe in the fulfilment of his work and we’ve seen it before countless times in history (Noah, the Prophets, Jesus etc.) where the majority didn’t listen because it’s not what they imaged or the general consensus. Just because it’s not how we expect it doesn’t mean it’s not God, we always have to refer to the Bible to check, not feelings. The Pharisees didn’t have a good feeling about Jesus but we all saw how that tuned out.
@All born beauty yes that’s a fair point but Noah warned them many times about it over the course of the 100 or so years he was building the ark. He was in the middle of the desert building an ark, everyone heard him but no one believed him until it was too late. They all had a chance to be saved. The Pharisees couldn’t perceive the prophecies of the Old Testament because they were sealed (Isa 29:10-12). Prophecy can only be unsealed when the one God chooses testifies to the fulfilment of them, not any time before. The covenant was for them to believe in the fulfilment but they had their own ideas of what it should look like and perished because of that, despite Jesus fulfilling it before their very eyes. I’m still learning in the classes but they explain as said in Rev 1:20 that the stars are angels. I haven’t finished the course yet but I’m sure they’ll explain it, once I get there and we’re still in contact I can let you know. We haven’t learned about the letters yet but they said they’ll go through it in later lessons.

He hasn’t come back properly yet but came in spirit to give his testimony to new John (Lee Man Hee) through the angel to testify what he saw and heard, not teachings of his own (Rev 1:1), the same servant Jesus talks about in Mat 45-47. Look at Psalms 105:6,21,26 to better perceive this parable. We as Christians are servants, and the faithful and wise servant is the one who Jesus appoints (being Lee Man Hee in our time) to give his food (word of life, John 6:27,48,51,58) at the right time. The same one with the iron sceptre (Rev 2:27), the hidden manna, and the white stone (Rev 2:17). When Jesus fully comes back we will all know (Rev 1:7), but that will be too late for any who have not perceived and accepted to the words of testimony of fulfilment, just as the flood in Noah’s time. This is just a sample of what they teach, don’t believe the lies about what people claim they believe, listen yourself and decide.
@All born beauty yeah you’re right it’s the angel that delivered the scroll of Jesus’ testimony. and yeah the spirit of Jesus and God are with TOWO but his full coming happens after the gates of heaven closes (no more people allowed into the 12 tribes). I’m pretty sure they first 144,000 have already been harvested. They are like first fruits so there’s no difference between them and the multitude and wide, they had to be established first for the formation of the 12 tribes and then other people (multitude and wide) but all of new spiritual Israel are the kingdom of priests, not just the 144,000 (1 Peter 2:9). Also after the first 144,000 had been harvested SCJ then became the barn that we should be harvested to out of the field (Mat 24-30). I hope this clears some of it up

I believe that MHL can interpret the book of Revelation. He is so sure to his explanations. Even he wants world peace. And that a promise of God. He is just doing what is the will of God.
