I can say this I've heard Lynyrd Skynyrd sing it in concert three times. An just listening to these guys sing it they do it justice for sure. It's on my list of bands to see in concert in Shinedown for sure. I would love to see them play with Lynyrd Skynyrd and do this together.

I fucking love these guys so much. ...and Brent Smith ...Zack Meyers and Jellyroll together are amazing ...Brent could sing the damn telephone book and make it sound amazing.... It is my life's goal and the number one thing on my bucket list to see Shinedown and now I've added Mr .DeFord to that list .... Music is medication for ones soul and these guys so know how to deliver what your soul needs...when it needs it most....#lifegoals #bucketlistworthy

So very true! That’s why I passed my love for Shinedown down to my daughter and we share that. Also why they are inked on my arm. Brent is one of the most engaging front men out there, something special about his banter. SD are so down to earth and relatable. A spiritual experience!

My son was killed on 12/25/2022 and I find myself looking to music for some kind (any kind) way to deal with the grief of it all .... I tried to pass on my love of music and certain bands with which I feel connected too and Shinedown has always been the one that I related to most....they all struggled with addictions and things that tried to dim their light but they all made it through and I think that their music helped them and I pray every day since Christmas that I can find my out of the darkness....I have three sons I had three sons so the whole simple man song touches that spot that is kind of closed off to the world at this point in time. I appreciate your taking the time to reply to my comment. And one day I pray that I will be able to feel again and that Shinedown and now Jellyroll are the catalyst that will maybe start a much needed healing of my soul cause really no parent should ever have to bury a child....so again thank you for sharing these amazing men and their beautiful music....Dani

Me and my husband was there and it was a great show i saw jelly roll before he even came on stage i was over to the left handside where i could see everyone and everything!!!! It was a n amazing concert
