But I just remember the fact that even if I wasn't a fan, I cried my eyes out that day as I was considering the same thing around those days and I just broke down in tears looking at his fans. After all these years I wasn't able to listen to this song after Jonghyun's passing, I wasn't able to listen to SHINee since I mised him so much and it made me sad not seen them together , him, next to Key,Onew,Tae and Minho were a ray of light for me when I was a teenager and well after listening to this song I know that he will alway live in our hearts and Shinee's heart too♡ .

We're all crying watching this. Can you imagine how hard the members trying to hold on their tears to shoot this mv? 😖 It feels like there's a thorn in my throat. But watching this is like the members trying to say to all that have lose their loved ones, to be strong and keep going, make yourself worthy and can be proud of.

As a new Kpop fan, got to know about Shinee and Jonghyun. And here I am crying an ocean. Jonghyun, I hope you are watching all the Shawols remembering and cherishing you up from the heaven.

I remember reading ‘the note’ online in 2018 but I wasn’t aware of SHINee as a group so much. Reading what Jonghyun wrote was so heartbreaking and this is coming from someone who just learned about k-pop in 2018. Fast forward to March 2019 I decided to try listening to a various k-pop artists and The Story of the Light captivated me in a way I never thought it would. I grew up listening to western music, particularly rock and indie but I’ve got to tell you there’s not a bad song on the album. Watching the video today has made me cry my eyes out. It’s so somber but at the same time a beautiful song where shinee are yearning for Jonghyun. I know it’s not something to be celebrated but why do I feel The Story of the Light should’ve won awards? I mean of the international kind.

The video shows their lives after the incident. Minho was recording the movie 'Inrang' for that moment and had to resume recordings in a short time. It shows Key dancing alone. Onew lately has been writing lyrics and the gym is a common thing for idols. That means they tried to continue with their routine, their activities. But it was like time goes by and they are in the same place. A burdensome. They decided to walk the same path together and stay five as SHINee was the best for them. Of course, this is my interpretation. ⚘

Of course it’s nice to break records and win on music shows, but shawols have matured on an entirely different level. We’ve experienced tragedy that no fan should experience, but we’ve come together and helped one another through it. And at the end of the tunnel is a light brighter than before. I am extremely happy to see them sing on stage and smile once more, and I just want them to know how important they are to us. Shinee will always be in my heart and I couldn’t be more proud of everything they’ve done. All these comebacks are brilliant have really filled my heart with tears, love, strength, and courage❤️

Wow, personally what i got from the mv: Jonghyun loves to make music (onew did that in the video), work out( taemin did that), dance (key) and minho resemble him as a hardworking person in the industry. Who's here just listening and doesn't care what year it is.....

It all started when SM needed five unrivaled vocalists in a group... and SHINee was born.

Someone mentioned that the MV shows them after 18th, how they were surviving through it all but not really living until they found comfort in each other and Shawol (pearl aqua lights) and the end, getting up on stage again surrounded by these lights (love and comfort from people around them) representing them starting to live their lives again as Jjong would've wanted them to do. I love that and agree, they have shared how they struggle at the beginning to the point they got counseling, I also think this is they way to show us that we can go through this together and keep going even if it's hard 💕🥀🌕

So, my theory is..each of them potray a characteristic of Jonghyun. Like Onew is a composer, Key is a dancer, Taemin is seen working out and Minho is shown passionate with his action skills and photoshoot. The emotion conveyed in this MV is indescribable. And there is this scene where there is an empty spot for Jonghyun. His characteristics need him to be the complete Jonghyun. When the members of SHINee is seen walking towards the stage which was lit up with beautiful pearl aqua green bulbs which is SHINee's fandom color and maybe it indicates that Jonghyun's characteristics are and will be always close to Shawols heart because the members felt at ease when they were there on the stage. I personally don't mind the views because I understand that not all Shawols are capable to watch this at the moment.
