Funny how he transforms to a baby with the presence of his hyungs. He really is the luckiest maknae. He grew up showered with love by the people around him.
The difference in his behavior is just like the difference between how a kid behaves at their own house with their own parents vs at someone else’s house as a guest. To summarize my opinion, Taemin is cute.

Some members in other groups maybe feel a lil bitter if one of the member getting more successful than other and make the atmosphere in a group uncomfortable. They're not say it out loud but I just can feel it. But no, not with SHINee. Each of hyungs really feel happiness for Taemin's success and even supporting him in a fullest way. I love them and I'm grateful that Taemin is surrounded with good kind hearted people.

Taemin was loved by his hyung day 1 and trained, guard and do crazy with them, he can’t hide anything and his smile can melt anyone not only his 4 hyung but all the shawol in the world .. that’s why taemin is the most protected maknae of all times.. 😊😊

SM maknaes are super spoiled especially the boys, but the girls too, but Taemin was THE MAKNAE of the whole 2nd generation of kpop! In old variety shows all of the set babied him, for example Kang Hodong! He even lifted him up like he would be a real kid. 😄

Afaik Kyuhun was even a bit of an outsider at first, and changmin is the og evil maknae, no idea who in nct would be equivalent of taemin, since they keep getting new maknaes? Exo is just full of fake maknaes 😁 but in general I think sm is alright in regards to group dynamics (they seem to treat e/o well). Unfortunately many groups will subjugate the maknae to alot of pushing around and u can sort of tell which groups that "bully" their maknae. Alot of groups play up their bond on camera and mostly are just collegues (which is alright) but i have issues when u can tell there is a conflict underneath. Even SHINee said they only really became friends when they stoped living together 😁😅 I really think they have one of the closest bonds, they behave more like real siblings than real friends tbh. In comparison another group that seem to have a really strong (real) bond is monsta x, and they I would say have a close friend bond, rather than sibling bond. As an ELF I know Suju hyungs how much love Kyuhyun, Sehun is a super spoiled brat, EXO do almost everything for his favor, in NCT I think they see Jisung as the main maknae, and they behaving around him a bit like Shinee with Taemin. 😁 Actually what I know RV unnies literally raised Yeri, just as SNSD raised Krystal and Sulli. DBSK hyungs praised Changmin so many times, and excuse for his big mouth. On the other hand: these youngsters love to follow the olders, because they feel safe beside them. 😁

I've been a shawol since 2013, just before Dream Girl comeback, not a multi, just a shawol though I do consider myself a monbebe since a few years back as well. I'm not as visibly active on fan forums since Jjong passed though. I don't remember exactly where they say that, but I'm pretty sure they mention it in at least two different shows, Key certainly has talked abt it. They are great real friends and they went through so much together, I really respect them and their bond, both as collegues, artists and humans. I don't expect anyone who tosses around stuff like "you ain't a shawol" with zero backing up to understand, but I have to wonder if you're quite a newbie when you can't even recognise that I literally have the pearl aqua moon from Jonghyuns Shinin' MV as my profile picture, which it has been since the release of that mv in Jan 2018.
personally what I believe attracts soo many people towards Taemin is his simplicity and humility. He is THE best male soloist in Kpop at the moment and he could, if he wanted, keep all that fame to himself but NEVER have I ever seen Taemin mention he's success without mentioning SHINee. Its always "Hi, I am Taemin from SHINee" not "Hi, I am TAEMIN." I got to know taemin and shinee through superM and these two aspects of his personality really struck out to me and I can confirm that this will take him a long way,
I truly believe Taemin is as good a soloist as he is because of the nurturing he got in SHINee. He has always been an ambitious character but during his teens was so much more shy and unsure then people might know nowadays. The members really integral in encouraging his talent and ambitions and he definitely doesn't take that for granted.
Well, considering how SHINee helped him achieve his goals, all 4 members have literally raised him. Jonghyun alone taught him a lot of stuff and supported him because he knew how anxious Taemin used to be. He wouldn't talk in front of the camera. Jonghyun also helped a lot be developing him as a great vocalist he is now. We all know this and it's not a surprise he always mentions SHINee because it's not just a group, it's his family. He's successful on his own but before his solo SHINee boys were what gave him strength.
Shinee is clearly more important to him than his solo career. (Not to say that he doesn’t take one more seriously than the other. Just that he values the group above himself.)

I think the biggest Taemint out of our 4 Taemint’s was Jonghyun. Out of everyone he knew Taemin’s choreography the most. You could just tell he was Taemin’s biggest fan and admired him a lot.

One of my favorite things about SHINee is how they're all each others' biggest fan. I feel like SM groups have the babiest maknaes out of all the K-Companies. At least the groups I am most familiar with: SuJu/Kyuhyun (he's evil, but they let him get away with it), SHINee/Taemin (of course...babiest), EXO/Sehun (Babied by all, but especially Suho, Baek, and D.O.), Red Velvet/Yeri (such a baby)...Anyway, SHINee has been together a long time, has been through incredible tragedy, and been a smaller group from the start, which makes their bond, the strongest I have seen in Kpop. It's really heartwarming!
Watching SHINee's clips always make me emotional like my emotions overflow so much I tear up... I love them so much and I miss them, awaiting their return...
