Watching this, it feels like I'm watching a film from 150 years ago, as if animation had been around for centuries already, and this is an example of "the best" animation from over a century ago.
Watching this ten years ago was like watching toy story for the first time as a kid, experiencing an entire new visual world. Those sensations are rare, if nothing but these short clips ever come out I'm still thankful.
@@Serra179:CHECK A FILM CALLED "THE VILLAGE OF IDIOTS" BY Eugene Fedorenko and Rose Newlove, "My love" 2006 ( Moya Lyubov) by Aleksandr Petrov, "La Joie de Vivre" by Hoppin and Gross and definitely "Tale of Tales" by the wonderful Yuri Norstein....A great favourite of mine is "Begone Dull Care" by Normal McLaren....Cheers!
One of my friends just told me about this and I hope if the creators ever pass, their pupils will continue working on it using the same technique. Reading a lot about Yuri and his work is very interesting, and their finished films such as a Tale of Tales are incredible.
