Reformat ost's to ogg format (formatfactory will help. Google it). Go to Tsukihime\CD and paste here OST in ogg format. Rename it to one of the used tracks already. (Better to save original files - put them in some folder or something) Menu music if I remember correctly is - track08.ogg

I haven't read it yet, but I'm guessing that the main problem with this anime is "maybe?" the characterization of some characters. For instance, I know that Tohno Shiki isn't supposed to be THAT freaking slow and dumb-founded, he actually can get pretty serious and talkative, whereas Arcueid is almost the same but WAY MORE childish and ditzy. (watch Carnival Phantasm to have a notion) I don't know about the other characters, though, but I guess they probably left something or another out of their personalities and stories as well. Honestly, I enjoyed this anime. The very first few episodes were a REAL PAIN IN THE ASS (specially because Shiki acts even worse than fucking Mikiya from KnK), but it picked up after a while. I also think they tried to mix in bits and pieces of both Arcueid route and Akiha route into the anime, due to heavy emphasis they put on Akiha's story as well, so I found that kind of neat. :) What I found strange, like REALLY STRANGE, were the sacrements Ciel used in battle. Like, I read and understood she can make weapons using the pages of the Bible, but that's only Black Keys she make. Black Keys, the same ones Kotomine Kirei uses. And yet, in this anime, she can make swords that look _very differently_ from the Black Keys and can also create *A FUDGING TRIDENT.* o___o Like, what the hell? Also, as far as I researched, Roa (the vampire possessing the real Tohno SHIKI) actually changed SHIKI's appearence once he managed to get more control of it. So much that if you type "Michael Roa Valdamjong" on Google, you'll find a guy that looks like a shave Yanni. Black long hair, open white shirt, almost loose black pants. That's the form he takes during the Arcueid route as far as I know, and yet, he appears as simply Tohno SHIKI during the final clash? Like, I'd understand if he maintained SHIKI's original appearence during his first appearences, but then changed into his more well-known shape during the final fight against Arcueid and Shiki. After all, the explanation could be given there. He wasn't as much in control of the body back then as he was now, so now he's even more dangerous because he can finally use part of Arcueid's power. Oops! :x For someone who actually enjoyed this anime, I'm typing quite a number of things that bothered me, huh? XP Oh well, might as well say that the fight against Nvrnqsr Chaos was too short, but I blame that on the short ammount of episodes. What I did like was the interactions they put up for Arcueid, Ciel and Akiha during that amusement park episode. (that roller-coster scene where Arcueid and Ciel ended up on the same cart had me rolling on the ground!!!) *ROFL* I'm kind of certain, though not 100%, that those did not happen in the VN. If they did, I need to update my research, but the matter is: I just found that episode so good! I don't know why, but I actually liked it! I also liked the pace and atmosphere the story was taking from the middle episodes forward. With the whole suspicion about Akiha, Hisui trying to help reveal the truth, the discovery of the truth behind the Tohnos and the Nanayas, Arcueid and Ciel telling Shiki about each other's stories, the seemingly "open season hunt for Roa" (seriously, he had Akiha, Ciel, Shiki and Arcueid on his tail, dude was a badass at stealth motion), and the way the series just ends. It's sad but it also feels suiting. Oh, I also like that nothing bad happens to Yumizuka Satsuki in this anime. Like, I don't know the details, but I've heard that her fate in the VN is always terrible. Like, do you know how Lance from Fate/Stay Night has E Rank Luck? Satsuki is supposed to be an even worse case. :( Damn!

i like the anime but i think it is because its only like 12 episode for a complex visual novel and the adaptation isnt entirely accurate but its still good story nonetheless

@@rjyoon562 I agree. They had to rush many scenes and skip detailed explanations because they were trying to adapt a complex story into just 12 episodes. That's why many VN readers hate it but it's not a bad anime. They did what they could.

@@MrDibara I agree with your pints just finished it today it can be slow at times, I wish ufotsvle would give this and saber route another chance of being remade but keeping their original soundtracks and story but with Better animation!

Yeah I feel you, I also thought that the first Fate/Stay Night anime was good until I read the VN

The manga is frivolous and comedic like an adolescent shounen. For me tsukihime is mood and atmosphere so the anime is better.

I didn't play the game, but the anime is amazing, and everyone keep saying that the characters personality isn't like theirs in the game and everything... but it was perfect in the anime in my opinion, the always serious personality and their uncertainties made the anime very mature. I prefer a Serious Less talkative Shiki than a talkative and joyful one, same goes for Arcueid.

As someone who first stepped into the Nasuverse via the Tsukihime Anime, it will always hold a special place in my heart. I love the solemness and sometimes downright depressing atmosphere in it, how it draws out each character slowly. It's not perfect by any means but I still think it's amazing what the director pulled off with it.

Yo también ví tsukihime en animax en 2005 cuando la estrenaron. Todos los miercoles a las 8 pm lo pasaban. Estoy volviendo a verla obviamente con su doblaje venezolano que si bien no era lo máximo me trae mucha nostalgia. Animax, regresaaaa 😭

Indeed. People complain that the story wasn't well adapted from the VN, but I think it could have if it had more episodes. 12 is too fucking short, whatta heck was production thinking!!

12 is good enough, you can take Cowboy Bebop as an example, 26-episode series, half of those isn't about the Main Story, it was more about knowing about the characters personalities and comedy episodes. Yet Cowboy Bebop is considered the best anime of all times and one of the best TV shows too.

Actually, people seem to hate it because it was a poor adaptation of the Visual Novel, leaving way too many details and explanations aside and rushing a few things over. I wouldn't know because I haven't played Tsukihime yet, not watched someone play it yet. _(still stubbonrly waiting for my fave youtubers to play it one day)_ :P Still, although I did feel the characterization was a little off _(I did get to play the Melty Blood series a bit),_ it still doesn't mean the anime was really bad. It starts off very painfully, the first few episodes are hard to digest. But afterwards, it gets kind of interesting and you start liking the suspense and the slow unveiling of the story and everything. It was an enjoyable experience, even if it could've been better. :)

Yeah, same. I think I've heard a similar piece in Fate/Stay Night or Fate/Zero, which isn't too much of a surprise since those two are also by Type-Moon

I actually enjoyed it, to be honest. Well, I'll admit the first four episodes were a *NIGHTMARE* to gulp down, but after that, the story kind of picked up and I actually started enjoying it, specially after Akiha's part started to come into the plot. Of course, this is coming from a person that only loosely knows about the characters and never really read the VN. Please, don't take my comment too harshly. :(
