I get that, but this allows for more unique matchups with lesser used gods. Duel is about being the best player, not needing a crutch god to carry you to the best, and you still see the OP gods in healthy amounts. It promotes using a wide array of gods to display your skill as a better individual player. Problem before was ONLY the same gods were permabanned and didn’t have enough bans to allow the lower win rate gods the chance to compete. It’s more level of a playing field than before. Plus it cycles out, so the bans are gonna change again next season. If it were reverted then duel would probably go back to being even more dead like it was

I think I just disagree that you are seeing more unique matchups now. If there are only a small number of very OP gods (i.e., current situation), then those few gods are going to be picked over and over again. I feel like that's what's happening. I personally think it would be better to just keep all the super OP duel gods banned, instead of bringing them back at all. But I think if they want to bring them back, they should bring them all back. If there are only some of them back in the pool, then just a couple will always escape bans, and those couple typically get picked a lot. If all the op gods are back, then at least more than a couple escape bans, and there are more opportunities for unique matchups

Also super good and cringe Horus build is rune forge, breastplate, hydras, serrated, void shield, then either brawlers or deathbringer depending on the match up and build in any order but against magic damage I replace breastplate with genji and void with blackthorn

Bout two months ago I was thinking about how every other hammer is new or has been buffed or needed in the last seasons and I thought about my boy blackthorn hammer run that hammer on anyone in any game mode and tell me it doesn’t slap
