Finally got out to the desert to give my new skins a test. They are AMAZING!!!!!!! - Very happy with them. I know this is kind of a boring video - but WTF.... The Shinko 244's are definitely a 70 / 30 tire - 70% off-road & 30% on road - I agree with the "Aussies" on that one...
YUCKY COMMENTS WILL GET YOUR A$$ KICKED OUT OF THE MAN CAVE "PERMANENTLY" - DON'T RUB IT IN.

might get a shinko 244 as well for my honda xr150L

Love the 244s. They cup over time when on pavement a lot, but not bad enough to make a stink about it. Florida here, they do very good in deep beach sand also.

thevoyer2002 - Thanks man - that's good to know. Although that was just a simple / short test, there are lots of washes to ride through out here - miles & miles of sand... Cheers

Michael - not much at all - But I live in the AZ desert, and I am now 61.... I am not as fast as I used to be. I can say after 2000 miles, the fronts are starting to "cup" - mainly because of on the road braking. I know this is not much help, but I absolutely love them. Cheers & thanks for watching !!!

Thanks very much. Like 49 bucks at Harbor Freight - a 2500lb ATV winch. A little "fabrication" and of course, a piece of wood. And yes - it makes it so easy, your in the truck in under 30 seconds, and no chance of dumping the bike. Cheers !

Hi William - ya, I am very happy with them - they grip really good. That area is fairly rough, hard, and rocky. They pretty much felt like full on knobbies - yet they're street legal. I am liking that tread pattern.... Back is getting there - heading out to the desert wasn't the smartest thing to do - but I needed to get out of the house for a couple of hours LOL....
