Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, released in Japan as The Super Shinobi II (ザ・スーパー忍II Za Sūpā Shinobu II), is an action game developed and published by Sega for the Mega Drive/Genesis console that was released in 1993. It is the direct sequel to the previous The Revenge of Shinobi. The game was originally intended to be released in 1992, and to be very different from the final version of the game in terms of levels and storyline.

We reeeeeeally need a shinobi sequel right about now. Still happy we got streets of rage 4 not long ago. People also want a golden axe remake of some sort even now. I mean, I reaaaaally wanna go Shinobi surfboarding in 4K graphics on a PC. And Shinobi horse riding in 4K too. I even lets played shinobi 3, and I'm sad that I beat it in 3 videos because its a short game. Then again, it is a 1993 game after all.

Never had or played any Shinobi titles but as an '80s kid who grew up just sitting down and listening to Streets of rage and toe jam & Earl music this still takes me back. I might go try and play this now. +1 sub sir.

HOLY SHIT. Someone please encourage the person behind 8-beats VGM to redo the entire Shinobi 3 ost. I would pay for this! You guys should know that there is a way to get CD music into your Sega Genesis games and that people have been putting together soundtracks for many many games. You should RU-vid Genesis MD+ and MSU1

MAAANN!!! They sort of did make that game but they didn't use the music that we know and love. That was the 3DS Shinobi, which was a combination of revenge of Shinobi Shinobi 3 Shinobi legions and it had some of the abilities of the PS2 Shinobi

Most agree this is the best song but the entire shinobi is good for the most part. I am surprised you didnt make an extend the staring tune, the end round tune, the the victory tune to make them longer.

Its a shame that shinobi 3 continuously gets overshadowed by its predecessor "revenge of shinobi". Like 3 has better gameplay, soundtrack, visuals, and most importantly the controls are great.
