They should really add a custom/free mode where you can do deathmatch 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and free for all with 3-8 players. I know this game focuses on teamwork but there needs to be a strictly fighting option where people can fight on their terms. Even allow private lobbies where you can just play with friends, and allow us adjust the timer and number of respawns or make both unlimited if we just wanna keep fighting till we get bored. And give us an offline mode where we can play against AI
Just a bit more refinement by adding more jutsu, new game modes, free-roam roof top running and it will become a big hit. It's so cool and awesome! I really feel like a ninja while playing in-game!
some of these moves don't come in contact with your enemies like the massive res which sucks cause when your in a defeat your enemies battle you wanna go for some distance cause people be going all out in thous battles then anything else.. but that's just me anyone else have any opinions?
Everyone keeps asking what could be done to revive this game. Here are the real answers. 1) instead of making kekkei genkai fill a jutsu spot, they should get their own slot. It frees up a jutsu slot and could add "awakening mode" for sharingan, byakugan, etc. That way the devs could add more or several abilities to a kekkei genkai. Like sharingan should give extreme increase to substitution gauge and give slight boosts to all stats and copy a jutsu from opponent. Byakugan mode should have chances to reset jutsu counter with each strike. 2) Offer alternate versions of characters, like boruto timeline sasuke and naruto. Or even just naruto and sasuke with different jutsu they've used before. 3) instead of trying to create brand new jutsu, just add old ones to the game, like kakashi ninja hound, sasukes variantions on chidori, curse mark lvl one and two, shadow clone jutsu, primary lotus, etc. 4) add more fighting styles. It doesn't necessarily have to be the move set of a mentor, just give players a few options. 5) I know the devs wanted to build something new and different from past games. What I think they should've done was incorporate the best qualities from past naruto games into this one. Like jutsu clashes, extensive roster lists, the way you could change a characters jutsu when picking the character, the different substitution jutsu, team ult jutsu, scenarion campaign, etc. 6) take a few cues from the xenoverse series. Give players something to work towards. Be it a storyline or gathering a sacred treasure. Instead of just recolored variations of the same outfit allow players more control to just custom color outfits, add their own "decals" like sharingan, leaf symbol, whirlpool, kanji, etc. Also I like the clothes having different boosts, but what's annoying is finding clothes that both look stylish and have the perfect boosts. So again consider xenoverse. They built a system in the game where players could "create" their own boosts in place of the ones provided by the devs. Even though players couldn't really just create one, it gave players options and made them feel like they were in more control of their characters. They even let players add points to stats as they lvl up. While NTBST doesn't need such extensive stats, just use the system that naruto fans are already used to. (Hint*) (Bingo Book) 6) Finally, even though its a pain in the *** the dlc or updates, whatever we wanna call them, need to be either more frequent or contain much more for players to enjoy. Maybe slide in new weapons, clothes, a few missions, maybe two to three characters, some accessories, and definitely add some new ninja tools. While we're on the subject, maybe I'm wrong but wasn't there a naruto game where players could carry up to four different ninja tools into battle at once? Maybe try something similar. Two ninja tools per player. Maybe allow them to toggle switch between the two. To keep things simple, they could still share a recharge. Let me know what you all think. Thanks for reading.
You understand that shadow clone jutsu is one of the first substitution jutsu you get in the game right? Oh and we have the first wave of dlc. We are getting a second wave of dlc. Puppets AND ninja hounds are confirmed. And(btw) Pain isn’t a dlc. It is just a way to get an already In-game character early in the game. And changing your stats in this game would be way too OP.
I heard thats theres jutsu we learn for just playing and i heard the last jutsu support learn is some bug jutsu bit my question whats the last jutsu defense would learn Nvm i think its the Water Prison

The tracking is way too good on some of these justus, not even teleportation can get you out of the way cause it can just do a mean curve, especially air palm and lariat
Death Death dude there are going to be much more added to the game they already said there is going to be an additional 8 characters so that’s 2 new ninjutsu an 1 new ult jutsu for each character so this game has a little hype behind it so you should go an try it if you have a friend that has it
I can’t BELIVE I have to explain this... Certain jutsu,kekei-genkai,awakenings, have been ether: Not added for balancing reasons or because they would be too Op. OR They have become weaker for (can you guess what I’m about to say?) GAMEPLAY AND BALANCING ISSUES!!
So a bunch of the jutsu in this video are shown on characters from the series and not created characters (like Boruto's Rasengan and Sasuke's Chidori) Is that because they're not available on created characters or is every jutsu allowed on them? is there character specific jutsu?
Every jutsu is available for created character to use. However, depending on the character type (from the series), you can only choose what is available on you created character type.
I hope that little by little they will be implementing new modes and jutsus. In short, they will make the game better, they just need time because there are things that are not so easy to do.

@bam5335 The slug is very useful for base battles if you have a competent defense player. You can keep them alive by plopping one down so they can use it to heal while you babysit the other two players. Just come back to drop another slug every so often.
you can play the masters but you cant get their justsu for example click on tsunade and level her up as your master youll unlock her as a playable character

The Sharingan is really lame in this game... It could switch your jutsu out for a single use of the last justu used by the locked-on enemy, but it will act as a free substitution if hit, reverting the "borrowed" jutsu back to Sharingan and put on cooldown.
i wish there were custom games, since the game is dead, and i can’t find even a single game at all. So i only play VR missions, wich are getting boring after a while. I wanna play with my friends only, so i can at least have some sort of online expierience
