Shiny Bronzor in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond after 6,500 random encounters 

Always make it a mini-tradition to upload a shiny from the current gen on the cusp of a new generation. A little goodbye to Gen 8. A few thoughts and feelings towards the gen overall in the end as I show the evolution. Ty for watching and I'll see you maybe in Paldea for a few shinies here and there. My thoughts on gen 8 are just very all over the place. As games, I really liked playing through legends arceus, swsh I liked, and bdsp was just sorta of "eh" for me. But when it comes to shiny hunting, legends arceus got really tiring really quickly, and I love hunting in swsh and bdsp, thanks to things like marks and just having some really cool targets. So overall I'd say while I definitely enjoyed my time with this gen quite a lot, I think I'll probably choose to go back to the older gens more often instead.

I think the SWSH base game was pretty good. I didn't care about Arceus and DP remakes, and I don't like the concept of DLC in the long run, (what happens when you want to play the dlc later and the switch servers are shut down? The bug fixes? It all needs to be complete on the cart period.) So I only played base SWSH and moved on. I don't like feeling nickeled and dimed and Pokemon is becoming too much for me there.

I actually never played past gen 4… Tried 5, wasn’t for me, then dropped out. Recently got Pokemon Moon from a friend, so I will try it. Just, gen 1 till 4 are my alltime faves, I won’t buy games I consider worse.
