Man, I just failed a shiny Dratini because it ran away WHILE THE GAME WAS SAVING. Why Game Freak??

@@LDungeon omg that sucks :( there was a shiny Dratini event for community day fairly recently on Pokémon go, so you could ask people who play both when we have Pokémon home compatibility to trade you one

@@kevscollectibels4936 that only would’ve worked if he had saved the second it spawned, but it spawned while he was in battle and then despawned immediately. Too fast to even save.

Been tricked like that several times, Thankfully i have a shiny now, First zorua encounter and he was disguised as that smeargle 2.0s first stage, Zorua evolves into such a beautiful shiny.

All of the Mimikyu in that area look shiny lol

On one hand I like that there is no noise because it is more realistic, but on the other I hate it because I’m paranoid if a Pokémon is shiny or not so I check literally every Pokémon

How do you know that there was a shiny if you never saw it? The game doesn’t make a sound when a shiny appears or when you get close to one.

@@turkey4802 I was using the autobattle feature. Thankfully it has a check to make sure whatever Pokémon you send out doesn't attack shiny Pokémon, which is this little sweat bead icon that appears beside their portrait in the bottom left of the screen. So I was basically just training, letting my Pokémon clear out a group of Pokémon it was good on. I was running around to reset the spawns as well. Basically, I saw the sweat beads appear and knew it had found a shiny but accidently got stuck in a battle on the way to check it out and whatever it was had despawned by the time I had got there.

I reclaimed in a few months ago the same day! But thanks for the thought :)

Just auto battle your Pokemon wont knock out a shiny

@@TheSupremeRk9s well going off the assumption that you might have auto save on you could of loaded that save go to the same spot and waited for the shiny

Did you evolve the 2 that you caught? That counts towards Pokemon battled

They actually seem pretty manageable, especially when they spawn in hordes!
