SHINY HORDE TUTORIAL/GUIDE! | How to Shiny Hunt in ORAS P1. | Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire 

I recently hunted in this area and found a shiny Skarmory! If you're aiming for a shiny Skarmory like I did, I recommend having a pokemon with Magnet Pull up front. Abilities like Static and Magnet Pull will attract Electric and Steel type hordes respectively. :)

I've gotten 4 shinies in 1 DAY using this method.

Last time I went shiny hunting, I gave up after 10 minutes because i'm impatient. Yup.

The shiny charm really does help, I was horde EV training and I encountered a Shiny Spinda by accident, three hordes later, another shiny Spinda showed up.

Encounters Shiny Ralts. Ralts: You know whats gonna happen. Me: Don't you dare. Ralts: You know its gonna happen. Me:Don't......You.....Dare...... Ralts: (Middle Finger while teleporting)😎 Me:.......Ralts........I will find you.........and I will catch you.......You teleport again.......and I will kill you.....😐

I've been hunting for a shiny Shuppet via horde hunting for about 12 hours now. And I still got nothing. I don't have the shiny charm, but 12 hours is still kind of ridiculous.

I have a one question, when you shiny hunt for a seedot and started out with the dexnav where now my search level for that pokemon is up 420, if I use now the horde method for seedot does the search level help my chances?or is that a complete different method of shiny hunting?

Ok I've been using this and I'm trying to use this to get a certain Pokemon but that Pokemon won't show up only a different Pokemon will show up and only that one is it random or is their a way to get the Pokemon I want using sweat scent

It took me nearly a whole day but I finally caught a shiny Zigzagoon using this method it's the first shiny I caught in Alpha Sapphire I'm delighted going to hunt for more shiny's tomorrow 😊

If you try to get a shiny starter, do you have to enter the battle to see if it is shiny (that is what I did), or can you see it in the starter select screen?

I was doing horde Ev training for HP and I found a shiny whismur on my 4th horde, almost killed it because of the camera angle but thankfully I caught it :P

I like dexnaving when it works thanks to you I get a pokemon almost everytime until I get a shinny but horde is the way I get them most besides breeding them myself

I haven't been able to try that many methods yet, but so far, I love Masuda methoding. It's easy to be distracted during it and though it feels like it doesn't work too often, I still enjoy it. *Mumbles* Freaking Shellderp, not showing up after 40 hours... ;~;

You can also use smeargle for the moves false swipe sweet scent and soak for ghost types ghost types turn into water types so false swipe = 1hp = you get a shiny ghost type and one move mean look in case the Pokémon have the ability or move that makes it not leave the battle cool right best move for shiny hunters move set for smeargle

Parasect is the best SweetSwiper. False Swipe, Spore, Sweet Scent and Aromatherapy. Awesome right?

Amazing how luck factors in too. Doing a semi shiny badge quest (I'm catching them before each badge, but not restricting my party with them) and my 2nd shiny I got from the 54th horde (whismur), and so far I've done 400 hordes (granite cave) for my 3rd shiny, but it has yet to show up... ah well, need to sleep, continue the hunt tomorrow

This helped me a lot

I've caught all 5 of the shinies I've found using this method. First Wurmple (See below) then Zubat (Got bored in one area so switched and found it) then Sandshrew (Best caught in a great ball) then an eerie impulse Voltorb (The legendary blue pokeball) and finally Quick Feet Zigzagoon (Named it after me because I was looking for it over days, trying different methods) horde encounters are the only working method for me (Even though I sometimes give up, make that most times.)

I know this video is old but that's not how probabilites work. You do 5 indépendant draws for shinies in a hordes, that doesn't divide the odds by 5. What you said is "if you throw 2 coins your guaranteed to have tails (or heads)"(1/2 divided by 2 so 1/1)

Had a shiny lv100 Salamence back in the ds days with Fly, Dragon Claw, Dragon Breath and another Dragon move with high power. Was my signature Pokémon... I lost him... I will avenge him. I will catch a Shiny Bagon and evolve him up and train him to the Original's former glory and with the ability to Mega evolve a Salamence this one will be even better. This with my Mega Evolved Blazekin from X and Y's Torchic Event will be a powerhouse.

Am i doing something wrong? I kept doing Shiny Horde encounter, but it switches group target. Like i am targeting Meditite horde, but sometimes i encounter Shuppet? Whats the problem? In this video you get Spinda consecutively and not a single Skarmory horde, Just how?

So while I was hunting for a few Scyther for my live dex, I ran into a horde of Spinda and ran way. As I pressed the run button I noticed one of them was a shiny... The whole reason I was hunting the horde of Scyther and not just plain running in the grass was in case I would encounter a shiny pokemon too... I think I was just annoyed at how rare Scyther were. Being disappointed that I ran way from the shiny, I stopped my work on the live dex (after catching the final Scyther I needed) and now currently hunting for that darn Spinda. I even tried DexNav chaining it in Omega Ruby, but I broke the chain after 30 or so (currently around 333 encounters). Then I went back to Y, the game with the shiny charm, to horde farm it, and I ran into a shiny Swablu... Luckily I caught that one!

I got a shiny vanillite in X from using this method. Found it funny that I had 3 espeons with synchronize, went with the rash one, currently trying to get a shiny cubchoo..

I think dex nav is the best, because you have a ton of options, but it may take a long time. I've caught one shiny this way, but it was pretty lucky, because I wasn't even trying to get a shiny

i just got shiny charm on both my pokemon x and AS at the same time. It was hard because i would transfer pre evolved pokemon and forget to trade to other game lol, but it only took like 3 weeks or so :P
