I think its because it wasnt a hunt per say, it looks like they were manipulating the frames to land on their specific shiny frame in emerald to get a guaranteed shint essentially. then the comment basically means that instead of catching a fish you just shoot it in a bucket which would be much easier then you report it to the newspaper or in this case uploading it to youtube 🤓☝️
