There's strong evidence that a lot of shinies were hand tweaked to some degree (mainly that some Pokemon who have the same color pallettes in their regular form having different shiny pallettes) and we know for a fact that GameFreak had debug tools that allowed them to easily view shiny sprites in game. So it absolutely baffles me that someone at GameFreak looked at shinies like Garchomp and went "yeah looks good to me"

Everyone praises Shiny Haxourus and while it does look cool, you shouldn't evolve your Shiny Fraxure to it either as Fraxure combines the Black with Blue on its tusks

I love how they give almost every grass type some orange on their shiny representing autumn yet leafeon, the perfect pokemon for an orange color scheme, get the short end of the stick getting a barely noticeable coloring change

I disagree with all of these except nidoqueen. I like the other ones but I do agree with claydol losing some of the blue and I kinda wish it kept some of it.

What about Snorunt’s line? Shiny Snorunt looks awesome but shiny Froslass and Glalie are garbage.

In gen 1 i had 2 shinys and they had to be the worst ones, a gengar and a nidoqueen, also i was playing in an emulator so i couldnt even get that cool as hell shiny mega gengar

Snubbll is a great shiny but if you evolve it to Granbull it just becomes a weird beige color

Shiny Shiftry is based off a Tengu, which in most media has a red skin tone, this doesn't fix the shiny persay but it does make it more understandable. I actually like all of these shinies, the only shinies I dislike in general are just the ones who barely change.

The only reason nidoqueen evolves with them colours is that they were assigned different areas on the pokemon so when it evolved it change to that automatically without looking like it's predecessor who had the wrong identity for each colour.

Fun fact: the theory of shines being generated by an ai is almost fully made up as there is no evidence of any color changing ai in the games code, but RGB sliders are in the code, so most likely the developers used the RGB sliders to make each shiny by hand.

I didn't know how good shiny nutzleaf was in my pokemon ultra moon compared to shiftry like i was thinking that it would be like a dark pumpkin shiftry but no... that has to be my worst mistake (not coubting that one time i let my little brothers play my pokemon safe file and thwy caugth an PIDGEY with a MASTER BALL!)

Why does everyone think Shiny Haxorus is God Tier? I hate the Shiny so much. Platinum color would have been great, but instead it had to be the boring black. That's why in my opinion, Shiny Hydreigon is better.
