The ship TECUMSEH is seen in the MRC scrap slip, Dec.18, 2023. TECUMSEH was towed into Port Colborne for scrapping on Aug.29, 2023; she then sat moored at the canal's east wall until Dec.6, 2023, when she was towed into the actual scrap slip.
Note that there are still remnants of the recently-scrapped JOSEPH H. THOMPSON's hull seen laying around and pieces are still being cut apart. Also the ferry S.S. NORISLE is seen in the distance, waiting for her turn under the breaker's torch, as is the oil barge A - 410.
(Update: ALGOMA TRANSPORT would arrive here to join the scrap line on Jan.9, 2024)
(Update: TECUMSEH was fully and finally demolished somewhere in the period late May -early June 2024. Work started on ALGOMA TRANSPORT at around the same period)

Thanks for the update, we haven't been up to PC since the first week of December. It's sobering that ships that were launched during my ship watching days are now being scrapped. We are getting old! 😀 Thanks again!
