The series SHIPPERS is a love letter to all the fans out there that enjoy a bit of romance in their pop culture, but as a result they are often called “hysterical”, “stupid”, or "pathetic". OR SOMETHING WORSE! The show deals with the struggles, shaming and double standards that fangirls face compared to fanboys. It’s cruel, there’s plenty of trolling, plus a healthy love of celebrities.
SHIPPERS was funded by Screen Australia and went into production in 2023.
