In the last week and a half I was able to get the interior walls framed, ceiling joists put up and the sub floor/insulation done.
There isn't anything too special about this stage just simple framing techniques and making sure we have drywall backing in all the right areas. It definitely helps to have two people bringing the walls in.
next up will be water lines and electrical!

That’s it. I’ve been on the fence about building a container home out of this old somewhat rusted out container that’s been sitting on my grand papi’s land for the past 10 years. This video motivated me to get it done, thank you!

Why use the shipping container at all? Why not just build a small house of your own design? The steel container doesnt add much benefit or save all that much money. I guess it makes the house transportable though.

You are exactly right, if we would have stick framed this we would of been done there years ago and been making good money on it. I would caution anyone from doing this. At this point, we made our bed and need to finish it, hence why I'm just showing how it can be done in a way our county permits it and passes inspections.
