There is nothing more enjoyable than watching a beautiful young lady welding. I was in the trade for over 45 yrs. During that time there were very few women welders, you made my day.

I like the fact that you switch off and you both are doing it. What a beautiful young welder she is. Your welds will hold much better if you clean the rust from both surfaces.

Nice job, and great looking welds. Lydia, always have safety glasses on when running a power wire brush. I have had wire bristles stick in my arm. Wouldn't want anything to happen to those beautiful eyes.

Great video y’all. The candid moments are so funny, especially the one with your daughter starting her four wheeler while you are talking and the pause absolutely hysterical 😅. Your skills in front of the camera have come a long way. I haven’t been watching lately so it was nice to come back and see what’s been up. 1st, glad to see the baby squirrels are doing well. 2nd, nice welding Lydia and Jim. Great practice project 👍. 3rd, that is an amazing hootis design and looks good too. You can add a support underneath the tube running side to side with a spacer in the middle to help keep the arch if you need to. Looks good, can't wait to see more..

If the tires rub, put them on backward. The offset in the wheel should give more clearance. Nevermind. Wouldn't work with the recessed cup on the lug nut side...

Good video. Probably a good idea to wear safety glasses when you’re wire wheeling your welds or if you are using an auto shade helmet, flip your hood down while buffing welds.

Loved the American flag at the end. It represents all the good American ingenuity that went into this hootis.

I’ve thought about buying a shipping container for a make shift workshop but I live in a restricted neighborhood and I’ve been here since 1984 and don’t know how my neighbors would accept it because I’d have to have it for a while until I can get a new building put up! I still love welding and building small projects at home, lost my workshop in 2020 during the two hurricanes and as always insurance never covers enough so all my tools and machines are on a trailer in my garage now! Hopefully one day I’ll be able to put up a pole barn and get everything out of my garage! lol 😂 One day at a time, everything is so expensive these days! I only have my mig hooked up for my small projects good luck with your container trolleys my friends! If you have rusty metal, try this chemical called OSPHO! It works great and kills the rust along with priming it for painting! Just a hint friends, I don’t believe it’s too expensive!

I think you should have done a root, fill, and cap weld on those joints for strenth.

As usual you just did something and it looks great👍. But this ultimate hootis brings you a small problem you should work out before you start building your workshop. That problem is: how much space do you folks need for your hootis-museum? This ultimate hootis is big! By the way when do you expect to open your hootis-museum? I would like to visit it since I can’t remember how many hootisses you have made already.
