Ships wintering at Port Colborne (Feb 20, 2024) Welland Canal 

Views of the various ships wintering at Port Colborne, Feb.20, 2024: SPRUCELGLEN, CAPTAIN HENRY JACKMAN, ALGOMA CONVEYOR, RT. HON. PAUL J. MARTIN, ALGOMA BUFFALO, barge HURON SPIRIT with her tug SHARON M1, LAURENTIEN, and the CCGS GRIFFON.
Also seen are the scrap ships TECUMSEH, ALGOMA TRANSPORT, ferry NORISLE, and the oil barge A-410. TECUMSEH is the ship currently under demolition, note that her bow has been separated from her hull. TECUMSEH was towed into Port Colborne for scrapping on Aug.29, 2023; she sat moored at the east wall 'scrap dock' until Dec.6, 2023, when she was towed into the actual scrap slip. ALGOMA TRANSPORT arrived at the scrap dock Jan. 9, 2024.
