Walking distance from where i stay is a shipyard, although there is electricity used you can see the approach to the skill of " by hand ". Ships, boats big & small have been & still are built on Cam Kim island. Separated from Old town, Hoi,an by the Thu Bon river the area goes back 500 years to when the region was a busy trading port. Long may it last.
