This woman has been the cornerstone of my existence since I first listened to Garbage, it's like a magnetic attraction. Her noirness is so compatible with mine and that's why her music always resonated with me, I'm so sad this was never a thing to be put out.
This song is beautiful. I couldn't imagine Shirley Manson having to go through stuff like what she's singing about, she's so cool. I guess relationships can suck for everyone. :(
Would have been an interesting solo record. I once had a starologist look up Shirleys chart without knowing anything about her she said, " this person helps people heal. And the way she helps them heal is thru sound."
Radio coverage of these guys in the midwest really sucked in the 90s! I grew up with rock and roll, I Love Rock and Roll and anything to do with rock and roll. I'm sorry to say but I missed out on this band 20 years ago. They have many great songs with great instrumentations and vocals involved I love it!
She tried going solo but according to the last I read about Shirl and her solo project, labels said her stuff was just "too dark". People and their stupid pretension of not being reminded of dark stuff as if that avoided it all.
@@AlexOrozco-Social-Pariah A lot of A$R people are stupid, there's an ( or was ) an anti 90s thing going on. Now she would be being told" co write with Mark Ronson or Billie Eilish or her brother or " can't you write something like Dua Lipi? Looks like Garbage is doing OK, though.
This video reminds me of Run Baby Run from Garbage. She's a wonderful woman. @Verdunhunter I think Angelfish is (or was) a band that Shirley Manson sang before Garbage (this is what I've read).
Actually her label refused to release it, I believe they said it was too different from the material her fans know her for. I agree, this song is pretty good....its too bad it never came out...
