I think it could be alright... so long as they were already pulling back immediately at the first sign of high sink rate. They're just above a runway so they can trade off ALL their speed for altitude. Just need to avoid a tail strike or completely stalling it, at least until they're a few feet off the ground. The ground effect would help a bit there too. Question is, did they react early enough and can the plane react in time? The main danger from wind shear when landing is you fall short of the runway. This instance is much more interesting to consider!
A windshear warning comes when a horizontal gust hits the airplane. If it hits from behind, the airplane loses lift and drops down. Search for windshear on youtube.
I’m not super in to planes but I’m pretty sure windshield is basically a thing on the wings that slows the plane down so basically they’re going to super fast and trying to land which is a bad thing
