First time listening to Mr Ndeunyema and my first impression is that he's the professional he thinks he is. I'm not a business or oil guy, but I still found his responses re-assuring and giving sense that the entity is in capable hands.
Listening to Shiwana you get a sense that our country going forward is in good hands as it relates to Namcor as a parastatle, especially in light of the recent oil discoveries - and cognizant of Namcor's developmental and commercial mandate. There has been a number of chance-takers over the years and as much as Shiwana is diplomatic about it, the previous management led by the suspended substantive MD dug their own grave with poor transparency and the said diagnosed accountability issues. The board must bring back certainty to Namcor, the staff, shareholders and the board itself by considering Mr. Shiwana Ndeunyema's full-time appointment as MD soonest.
