I wish I met him... He is still alive through his music that will never die.

Thank you to Rafi Shuchat. He wrote to Arnon: "The video was made by Vanier College Hillel. The teacher in the class introducing R. Shlomo is my late mother Miriam Shuchat. She started the Jewish studies program there and taught there for over 20 years. In her twenties, She attended R. Shlomo’s weekly classes at New York University in the 1950’s just before he started his singing career".

I would like to speak with the person who put this up. I know the teacher talking in the video.

Terrible that he didn't pronounce the words of the melodies

At about 1:00, the introductory speaker (Miriam?) says that the Holiday of Chanukah is "upcoming", so this would be the first week of December 1990. Note the insightful observation at 1:03: "The real homeless people are not the ones who live on the streets, the real homeless people are those who live in palaces but they don't have the keys to their own doors". Who is the speaker at the end (1:05)?

Any chance of dating this more exactly and where it took place?
