This collection of performances captures Shlomo and myself in fine quality. I was privileged to spend many hundreds of hours accompanying Shlomo in concerts and in extended after hours teachings over a 25 year period. There is simply no one who comes close to the combination of musical originality and inspirational story telling in the Jewish world.
WAS PRIVILEGED TO SEE HIM IN PERSON THREE TIMES ( IM age 70)- NEVER Saw anyone quite like him- to me, he epitomizes to me true spirituality; he was truly remarkable- hundreds mourned at his funeral- orthodox , reform, black, Gentile....friends with Nina Simone; from an ultra ORTHODOX BACKGROUND-
This is Billie. I’m sitting with my grandson, Ezra Klein, and I love how he tells Alexa, Play Shlomo Carlebach. Ezra is Shlomo’s great great nephew. I love teaching my grandchildren Shlomo’s songs. No one like him. I could to all his songs over and over.
Be blessed, you are a good grandmother. All grandmothers should be involved in teaching their grand children basics of Judaism, especially children of mixed marriages. My grandchildren are Jewish because my children are Jewish and because they are girls. All my other sibling’s grand children, all boys, all married Interfaith. Their children are not Jewish so we produced two Jewish grand children, and all the boys will have no Jewish children this generation. They all have Jewish names, but the boys are not Jewish, their wives are not Jewish, and their children are not Jewish. Should that stop the Jewish grandmother from educating her grandchildren about their heritage? I sure hope not and instill that in your daughters, I don’t care who they marry. Their kids are Jewish.
B'H Testimony-potent at that his message was rooted in true Torah guidance and understanding, wisdom, daat, Ahavat Hashem and last but not least, Ahavat Yisroel with a good dose of brotherly love for the Benay Noach!!!

TY so much for posting this video. Long ago, Reb Shlomo was an angel on our path to Torah. To hear him sing will always feed my soul. The guitar music of Jeff and Shlomo is very moving. Shalom to all..
Thank you Neil Seidel for this performance with Reb Shlomo. In 1978, Neil and Trish (Patricia) Seidel collaborated with Shlomo to record the album "Days Are Coming" in Los Angeles. Here this recording is produced by Jewish Life Television Phil Blazer CEO. But what is the date?

Todah. Most posts of Reb Shlomo are of such poor quality that I cannot listen to them. This one is a prize. You are playing along with him? Where do you live Neil? We mostly learned with Reb Shlomo when he visited our friend Dovid Zeller before they left the Bay Area of CA. I do not remember if I every met you, but your name rings a bell. Shabbat Shalom from Portland OR.

They can’t meet some of the qualifications. Jesus met SOME OF THE Qualifications, but he didn’t meet ALL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS! That’s why he is not the Messiah. You have to meet ALL of the qualifications, clearly he did not.
That’s funny that you mention Thessalonians and revelations, because neither one of those are in the Torah those are New Testament references. So they mean nothing to Jews, because the Torah, the old testament has nothing to do with this. Our belief ends on the page that the Torah ends the New Testament in any of its versions is not a continuation of the old testament. There is only one covenant, that our God, the creator has made, and it is with the Jewish people. Now I have heard Christians tell me that the old covenant does not exist anymore because it has been superseded by a second covenant. I would like anybody to show me where that is, because they’re talking out their butts.
Beautiful! I remember seeing R. Shlomo when he was first starting out. He came up to the hotel where my family was vacationing in the summer and he had all us kids mesmerized. We followed him everywhere like the Pied Piper. He was so warm and loving and captured our hearts. And then in the Fall he played a concert at Lefferts Junior H.S. in Crown Hts Bklyn, NY. There wasn't an empty seat in the house. Truly one of a kind. And such a love for everyone.
Harav "R. Shlomo". a"h was the reniscence man of Jewish music. The Samborer Rebbe zatzal said that R.S. was yachid bdoro-the unique one in his regesh -feelings. Rabbi Eliakim Schwarz
He was the greatest of them all as a artist as a human been--he was the ELVIS of Jewish people-he was the greatest loss for the culture and the soul of Jewish people--HAVAL, HAVAL MEOT-
Darlene Rose and I were present at Phil's studio the day that you, Neil and Shlomo were recording. I think in 1993. (Another Israeli rabbi had accompanied Shlomo, z"l on that trip to LA. Was not Sammy. Were you in that studio more than once with Shlomo?
