Zzzzzz. Seriously, take the hate elsewhere. What was the last SHMA YOU bought? What did it do to you? Honestly, I don't get it. You want me to go against what I love about toys to feed haters like you? Nah, sorry to disappoint some, but that's not what I'm here for. I'll give an honest opinion every time, good or bad. @@Ultrazilla Let's see. I got their MV Ghidorah (Broken), GxK Godzilla and Kong (Disappointing), Can't forget my Favorite Godzilla design (Before Evolve and MV Goji) Godzilla 2000... Who just loke Shimo here IS BASED OUT OF A BLOODY CONCEPT DESIGN me dad bought me a long time ago. I don't know your opinion about Not wanting the same thing as what you saw on the Movie. Certified L opinion. Can't imagine myself wanting Negan's Lucile from TWD and receiving a Cricket bat version instead and be like "Wow, that's a good Lucile". I know it's your opinion but... Doesn't mean it's immune on being a called a sht opinion. But, I am a reasonable bloke. You did point out the growing problem of Bandai implementing pay wall on their MV line. Which will never be okay even if you are an avid collector. Using FOMO on these kinds of Price and Quality is worse than holding a wet Dung for 5 seconds.

​@quack9355 And you know I've doled out plenty of bad reviews to SHMA too. It's not a perfect line, yet here I am more than ten years out still enjoying it for the most part. It's a toy with articulated joints that already looks nothing like the movie just because of that.You want Suit accurate you go with X-Plus. Because it's not Hiya either. They've had plenty of duds too, yet their cheapness blinds folks. It's absolutely silly to argue either way because all of this is an opinion based on our individual tastes. Sure there's plenty of talking points and faults that can and will be pointed out, but your mistake here was starting your comments with my love for Night Color as a fault and not an opinion. Very odd take, and the true "L" comment. Please understand what a review is before thinking we should all share one opinion. Thanks.

Saying "def" and then to each their own doesn't jive. You can definitely say YOU think that, but there's not definites in an opinion that has alternative takes.

@@Ultrazilla of course there are alternative takes. There always will be. I'm just saying the majority agree that it's way overpriced for how it looks with the lack of paint and details and inaccuracies. You say a toy and a movie can be different when talking about appearances and yup that's definitely true but this isn't just a "toy" that's being sold to small children for 10 to 15$, this is a high end collectible and as such should be the best possible representation of what you saw on screen. Not to mention they turned kong into a marvel legends build a figure while also not improving his sculpt at all like they did Godzilla. If you can potentially buy the whole GxK line from hiya for the price of just one shma shimo then yeah it's not worth it. But hey at the end of the day it's your money and you can do whatever you want with it.

@brygei3806 At the end of the day, of course it's just a toy. Everything from low end to high is no matter what kind of spin we put on it. To say one is better than the other negates the most important thing, our opinions. You are not obligated to get anything you don't want, of course, no one is forcing anything on you. But no, the majority of folks do not agree. The majority are mostly judged by sales. Sure, there are plenty of vocal fans online, but from what I've seen, it's going both ways. This line isn't worried about Hiya like they weren't worried about NECA. They rule Japan, and the brand loyalty there is second to none, and they are the most recognized collectible brand in the world for a reason.

@@Ultrazilla They keep up these kind of shinanigans they won't be for long. They need to make an effort to improve their quality and functionality. It'd be a real shame for someone to shell out nearly 260$ on something like this only for it to end up breaking apart like uncooked noodles.

@@brygei3806 You can seriously go back ten years and see comments like this in a wide variety of Tamashii products and yet...? Here's the thing, these production runs are very big, and within said runs there's a multitude of outcomes due to individuals putting these together at factories. So yes while we see plenty of duds turn up online, heck I've gotten my fair share, too, that is an extreme minority across all figures. Tamashii barely bats an eye towards these complaints because far and wide sales prove otherwise. And this isn't just a Tamashii thing, this is across all toy brands. Bad toys exist, it happens at every level. It's up to you as an individual to buy or not based on your experience or preference, but the thing I hate in collecting right now is folks trying to influence others who have not had that same experience or value different things as collectors to fall in line, and that should not happen. Period.
