What's up, people! I'm back with another Izzy Dip reaction, meaning a Lucky Dip provided by great friend of the channel Izzy World. And this time we listen to "Steal My Sunshine" by Len, a title I didn't recognize in advance, but as you'll see, I realize almost immediately that I've heard this one somewhere and in some context (though I couldn't place that familiarity during the reaction). In any case, join me for a fun song sonically, though it sounds like the lyrics are perhaps a bit more complicated than the bright, sunny atmosphere. Cheers, and shout-out as always to Izzy!

Great song. I remember when this came out, I've always liked it. The video is fun too. It samples "More More More" by Andrea True Connection - another fun song. This is very catchy and just has a good groove to it.

This I took a risk with as I thought u might have heard it, from 1999, it would have been in the clubs and radio when you were the age to appreciate it. I bought it at the time , because it was a perfect summer groove when it came out and I played it constantly during the time. Essentially a one-hit band, Len (u pronounced it correctly like the male name) are from Canada, a fact I only recently found out when researching this for you. From Wikipedia: "The song's instrumental backing track is a sample of Andrea True Connection's 1976 single "More, More, More," earning a posthumous writing credit for Gregg Diamond, who died three months before the album's release." As you noticed there are two main vocals, they are by siblings Marc and Sharon Costanzo were not speaking to each other at the time of writing it. It was inspired by The Human League's "Don't You Want Me" as Marc wanted that switch in POV in a broken down relationship.
