Man thank you so much for filming this! Since I missed it.. I totally would've come and been fangirling hard. Revenge of the Ninja was like Star Wars to me as a kid.
You just made my day 😊 You’re so welcome. My friend wasn’t able to attend as well, so I decided to record as much as I could. I’m with you, some kids we’re playing with light sabers. I was playing with katanas and shurikens 😆 🥷 🖤 I’m so happy you found and enjoyed my video. Thanks for watching.
If you don't mind, I would like to link our channel's audience over here to see this wonderful video you made on Sho. He is also a hero of mine as well as many other viewers who would really enjoy this special day. Thank you for filming it for us! - Todd Norcross
It’s my pleasure honestly. I don’t mind at all. I want more fans of Sho to see the video. I made it for all his fans that could not attend. I wanted to share my experience. It was truly a special day 🥷 thanks for watching and sharing it with your audience Todd.
First of all,let me THANK YOU,for filming this, and posting this,I enjoyed it so much! I'm glad that all of you could go and see him! What a nice and generous person he is! Very humble, and sweet! I'm a huge fan too! So happy for all of you, and thanks again! Those are some very cool collections you have! 💪🙏🙂
Master Sho was extremely happy and very humble to be there with all his fans. He was so generous with his time and thanked everyone who stopped by. Some fans flew in just to get an opportunity to meet there childhood hero. It was incredible event and a day I’ll never forget. Thank you so much for your kind words and for enjoying my video. Sho is a Legend 🥷 🖤
I still got chills seeing him do the Kuji Kiri. Because back in the 80s when you watched one of his movies and he did the hand symbols right before a mission, you just knew he was about to wreck some folk.
I geeked out when he said the sword we were holding for the photo op was the same one from Revenge of the Ninja 🥷 He was so nice and I can’t believe he let us hold so many items from his private collection. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
@@FantasmaHouse absolutely! If I could’ve I would’ve tried on and held as many as I could 😆 He was happy to be there and share everything. It truly was a very special day for this 80’s kid.
Glad i stumbled on your video! Im 53 & grew up watching Sho's Ninja movies as you did. Glad to see hes still around. Would love to see him do another movie. Fantastic video!
Love the video as someone who grew up in the 80s watching Sho Kosugi's & other Ninja movies. Sho Kosugi is a big part of our childhood & the OG of Ninja films. I share your excitement & enthusiasm & love for these movies. The popularity of Ninjas in the 80's is undeniable & i still get that old nostalgic feeling today as i did back then. Sho made us all wanna be Ninjas. Im sharing this in my 80's group, hope you dont mind lol....Thanx for putting this awesome video together.
I still want to be a ninja 🥷 😂 I had the biggest smile on my face the entire day! When I heard about this event there was no way I was gonna miss it. Like you I grew up watching all the ninja 🥷 movies. SHO was in all of my faves! Absolutely share it! I want everyone that grew up in the 80’s watching all of his movies to experience this event! Thanks for watching and for sharing!
I was born in 82. And Ninja 🥷 Movies were a big part of my childhood Master Sho was a real Action Hero 🥷 I remember watching his movies over & over very down to earth Sho really is & holding the weapons is mind blowing 🤯👏🏻
Bro that is just awesome…. I’d have probably acted like a teen girl meeting Backstreet Boys back in 1999 or something. A total dream of mine to meet that man and handle the prop swords etc. awesome just awesome thank you for sharing this.
I know exactly what you mean and that’s exactly how I felt. I was totally fanboying out! Especially when he let us and handle the prop swords!! I was totally geeking the entire time. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching 🥷
It’s my pleasure!! I grew up loving Ninja 🥷 movies 🎥 and I could not pass up the opportunity to meet Master Sho!! Once in a lifetime experience! I wanted to share my experience with every Ninja 🥷 fans across this platform. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
What a cool and super intimate experience! That was so much more than just a meet and greet, I have so much more of an appreciation for Sho Kosugi now.
It really was! We definitely were not expecting that at all. It was truly a very unique experience that all his fans will never forget. Sho is absolute LEGEND 🥷 One of my all time favorite meet & greets!!
Man I dont know you but im jealous lol. I love Revenge of the Ninja, Favorite 80's movie growing up. Just like you....I wanted to be a Ninja. I even go a trick I use with a shirt to turn it into a ninja mask.....without cutting it. RIP Steven Lambert.....I didnt realize how many movies he was in......I wanted to meet him ......damn......he pasted away before I could........RIP my silver Ninja brother
That was delightful to watch. Like many kids in the 80s Sho Kosugi had a place on my wall of posters. I loved Enter the Ninja and recently watched it again. Classic!
I don't have but one or two idols and Sho is one of them. It's so awesome to see him interact with his fans and he's enjoying it. He is so nice, genuine, and in great health. That had to be a once in a lifetime experience. Thank You for sharing.
It absolutely was!! I grew up watching his movies and when I found out about this event I couldn’t believe it. It was like Christmas morning the day of the event. He couldn’t have been nicer. He looked great and you can tell he was having so much fun meeting all his fans! I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Thank you for watching it!! I was beyond excited to meet him. I wanted to record as much as possible for fans of Sho who couldn’t make it. Hopefully he does more meet & greets in the future.
This is absolutely beautiful. Sho was one of the coolest cats ever for me growing up and being obsessed with ninjas and martial arts movies. So glad for you that you got to meet him!

Omg that’s amazing!! That’s exactly how I felt! I couldn’t believe I was meeting Sho and listening to him tell all us fans all those amazing stories. Hold his scripts and screen used weapons!! 🤯 I was extremely happy that day. I definitely remember that claw weapon. I always wanted one 😂 thanks for watching and take care. 🥷 🖤
I can’t thank you enough for posting this video. I have been a fan of his since Enter The Ninja and at age 55 still think he is the best. Sadly he was here in my province of Nova Scotia at a video store opening back when Black Eagle came out. I read about it two days later in the newspaper and still to this day I am heartbroken if I think about it 😆. Thanks again for sharing.
I had a huge smile on my face the entire time!! It was a truly special experience that I will never forget. Thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Enjoyed this. Thanks for letting me being the geek again. I was 9 when Enter the ninja came out. Must have been a wonderful experience to meet the master in person. Those props he showed👍👍👍
Man you are so fortunate!! How did you manage to meet him as I have been asking for years how to meet him as I am from Scotland and before I die I would love to meet him and thank him personally for the amazing childhood I had reinacting Sho Kosugi with my friends all in a forrest making ninja weapons then splitting into groups and hunting each other down. Would cross land sea and air to meet my absolute legend.
I was very fortunate yes. I saw a post online that he was going to be doing a signing event and I couldn’t believe it. It was a dream come true honestly. Hopefully he will do more signing events cause he looked like he was having a great meeting all his fans. Thanks for watching!
That would have been so cool, watching Ninja III The Domination back in 84 could never imagined you would be able to hold the sword from it 40 years later
I still can’t believe it. Growing up in the 80’s ninja 🥷 movies 🎥 were my jam!! When he told us the sword we took a picture with was the screen used one… the whole crowd got so excited!! Thanks for watching.
awesome. what a great guy Sho Kozugi is. I want to be as fit at 75 too. I'm going back to Aikido training, but I'll always combine it with my Karate skills, make my own Ryu. I'd love to hear more about his work for motion capturing TENCHU games on Playstation. those games are awesome, also his voice acting of course. I didn't even know Sho was Rikkimaru in these games, now I like them even more.
very cool. wild seeing him do the kuji and sword work. i grew up to his movies. then trained 15 years in the bujinkan and other samurai schools. got 2 black belts. and then i moved to the mountains of oregon. to mt hood. i trained in the mountains and i lived in the national forest. i made over 1000 videos on mt hood. i left 3 years ago. i still make videos but not ninja videos so much but when i lived there. i made hundreds of videos doing all weapons of the ninja. at waterfalls. me on horseback in real samurai armor in the mountains. blinding powders. fighting others. shuriken. bo. archery. acrobatics stealth. swimming in lakes on volcanoes in full ninja gear. doing winter stealth videos in full white ninja suit in the snow covered forest. he shaped my life. i just got new tabi. the same brand show wore in revenge. i got them for christmas. i show them in my christmas video. this was cool bro
Hey Alfonso! Awesome vid. My favorite ninja movie is Ninja III: The Domination. Saw it late night during the 80s on HBO or Showtime or Cinemax….every time it was on I would watch it plus, I rented the video about 100xs.
Wow I'm so jealous right now, my favorite movie is Revenge of the Ninja. Love Sho's movies and he is a great guy still at 75 😅 come on Sho we want you in the UK, bring the props 😊
I remember seeing Revenge Of The Ninja at a local drive-in when it came out, ironically it played with Cujo...man the memory of that and seeing Master Ninja with Lee Van Cleef.....thanks for the video......definitely will have to pick up a photo from the store online
Seeing it in the Drive-In!? That sounds amazing and totally 80’s!! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing your memories. Those were magical times back then. Thanks for watching
@@Fonso13 you really made my day watching this. I live in Australia and I collect Kosugi items. My channel is mostly studf I wanted as a kid in the 80s and slowly worked my butt off the buy stuff and now I enjoy sharing it with other people that love the 80's action movies. I have another movie sword coming soon that I do videos of too. The sword I already have from Ninja 3 is a lot like the one you held on the video.
@@gf2390 that’s incredible!! When Sho said “The sword you held for the picture is from Revenge.” I couldn’t believe it!! To be holding the actual screen used sword, incredible moment 😅
@@Fonso13 yes it's a great feeling. The second sword I'm getting is screen used in Revenge of the Ninja and is an aluminium blade. Here's a link to one of the videos I made with my Ninja 3 sword. ru-vid.comazwzi0bLPdw?si=WKZ0haeznA25tBcq
I like his attitude. Too bad no one asked him about meeting Bruce Lee back in the 70's and someone should have asked him if he ever wanted to work with the late great Mr Sonny Chiba. Sonny Chiba is another iconic legendary Japanese martial art actor, martial artist, singer , commercial actor. In case some don't know he is from the 70's era. Shawn brothers, Golden Harvest, Warner brothers.. In other word he is the same class as the following actors of that time, Bolo, Gordon Liu, Lo Meng, Jimmy Wang Yu, Jim Kelly, Ron Van Clief, Angela Mao, Sammo Hung , Bruce Lee , Bruce Li, etc. Too many to name. But yeah Sonny Chiba movies are off the hook. There were always comparsion between the two and who was better than who. Some of his movies Street fighter, Return of the street fighter, karate warriors!, the power of Aikido stars his brother, Shogun Ninja !! Of course kill Bill he played in it and fast and furious.. Sadly he left us in 2021 due to COVID-19. Sonny Chiba and Sho Kosugi are probably two of the most iconic Japanese martial arts actors in the world of martial art.. Jimmy Wang Yu, Bruce Lee, Sonny Chiba, Jim Kelly, Sho Kosugi. The torch was pass on to Sho Kosugi.. The kung fu era kind of was popularize by Bruce Lee and the ninja era was popularize thanks to Mr Sho Kosugi.. We should all appreciate him and give him his flowers. I definitely appreciate and admire his contribution to the martial arts community, martial arts cinema. I admire his knowledge and martial arts skills. He is the real deal and was part of the all Japan karate team back in the 70's . Back then Sho kosugi was under the late grand master Fumio Demura , he too was the real deal straight from Japan..Check out photo of the day , Sho Kosugi ... The Shito Ryu Ninja from 1983. Kick illustrated similar to black belt magazine, inside kung fu, karate illustrated, to
Awe I loved when he started taking items out of the cases and letting everyone touch them. I would be fangirling too if I got to hold actual items from my favorite movies. This event looked very intimate. Watching it it felt like you guys were in his house and he was showing off all of his fun toys. Haha His message at the end got me. 🥲
You are so right. It was very intimate. He was so happy to show off his amazing collection. I was geeking out I couldn’t believe it. Watching all his movies over and over again as a kid and now to be holding some his weapon’s was unbelievable.
Does anybody know who the actor is who played the masked horned ninja in the tv show the kids watch on the TV in Pray for Death. The lady calls his character Yamate. Can't find the actor credited anywhere. Thanks to the person who can help.
Hello - almost a year later and i JUST FOUND THIS … i’m the one in your video who asked him if he “brushed. his teeth w the hidden knife out of his sword “ also gave him a shirt for his June bday w all of his characters , including The Master , done by my friend artist Marten Go “preserved dragons “ on media. THANK YOU again for posting . 🙇🏻🥷
