Hi, great video. Very informative. I just ordered ST dual rate springs for my 22 pro xp ultimate. I haven't got them yet. Just curious what your fix was for the rubbing issue with the rear shocks and cross over rings? Also when you re adjust your preload collars to get your ride height back to the correct height do you move the cross over rings from the original position, or leave them where they are? Thanks
Thanks for watching! I did not move the cross over rings at all. Just turned the collars down. The fix is still in the works. Trial and error and now back ordered parts. I did some experiments with the cross overs with little or no success. The cure-all is still on back order but it sounds like I'll have it soon. Video will certainly follow!
They do sag over the first few hundred miles, no question. I did recheck the ride height on the last service and it has not sagged any more. Hopefully they have finally settled to their final height!
Nah, she likes it dirty! I do wash it at every 25 hour service, or after a big trip, but that's about it. I ride it at least a couple times a week (more in the summer) and the trails surrounding where I live are muddy in spots, so I've made my peace with it always being muddy. You'll be happy to know I washed it yesterday, as I am about to bring it in for a front end noise. I'm thinking axles. Thanks for watching!
