Highlights of this weekends 1st XI cricket match which sees Broadbottom Cricket Club visit the Speedwell Cricket Ground.
Buzzer captains another strong xi today. Karl isn’t available but we have Gav back, Pooly returns and Will steps up from the 2nd XI following recent success with the Ball..
A very warm welcome to today’s visitors, Broadbottom Cricket Club. Broady are really pushing forward both on and off the pitch and it's a pleasure to host them at Speedwell in this Division One match.
The weather conditions look ok so it should be a great contest.

Unlucky lads! Thanks for bringing me a piece of home. Living in Indiana but grew up in Buxton and Dove Holes area. Really warms the heart to see the cricket ground and surrounding countryside. Hopefully get a better all around performance in the next game.

Great spell by the left arm quick and a great athletic celebration to match that too! Tintwistle unfortunately lacks spin options which are very handy against aggressive batsmen who feed off pace. Should not have let the opposition score that many runs!

Best thing in Tinsels innings was that brilliant celebration Mickey. Another under par performance, but there is always next week. The next win will come soon, hopefully. Talking about 666 Tinsel could have done with that. Lots of nets practice this week and all will be good

Bit of a fan of the celebration but rather excessive when getting a number 8 out. I have to ask, was Minh wearing the player mic when the catch went down? (We've all been there).
