Jason Gallardo- It looks like something a pets or kids would do to the floor. I had a dog once that LOVED playing in the dirt, house plantes/dirt would be all over. I gave that dog so many baths he willing jumped in the tub and chilled.
I am having my early morning coffee before starting my weekly general cleaning. This is sooo satisfying to watch. This is why I do routine cleaning everyday, no shoes and only in door slippers policy.
The cleaning would be less than replacement. It is likely based on the condition of the rest of the walls and carpet that can be seen that it is mostly a "Get it as clean as possible until it can be replaced" scenario.
Here is the situation, the carpet is only a few years old. It's a lifestyle issue. Replacing the carpet is not the solution because the carpet is actually still in very good structural condition, that is why it cleans up so good. What needs to be changed is the lifestyle.
That's about the kindest way that can be said and I commend your professionalism. I would probably have said "You people are filthier than animals and don't deserve to live indoors"... But that's just me. :)
abra kadabra What people don't realize is,all of that dirt and filth gets pushed down into the padding and subfloor. No way I would have cleaned that and walked away. Much cheaper to replace these rental carpets than the cost of what is was to pay this crew. Don't get me wrong, they did a good job but; you cannot suck up all of that mess. It goes DOWN when the carpet gets soaked by the cleaning machine.Steam/water...it's all the same.
It probably does look like that because you can never imagine letting your carpets get that dirty right? But I assure you it this video is 100% authentic and unstaged. Believe it or not we had cleaned it a few years before, so we knew what was coming and we asked if we could video it. Crazy huh.
Devron Larson you did a great job. What kind of machine did you used and did you used a certain cleaning solution. Thanks our carpet needs some cleaning. It's not that dirty but it's been awhile.
Patricia, it's called a rotary jet extractor. It sprays out super heated water, agitates and the sucks it all up at the same time. It's the best. The cleaning products we use are all non soap/residue free cleaning products. One of them is an alll natural orange extract that makes the house smell amazing. We'd love to come clean your home when ever you are ready. Thanks. You can call us at 801-227-7387
@@kLuMzyOwl i knew people that put brand new carpets in their house and never took their shoes off and within a few months the carpets looked like that , he's full of shit
I used to do floor care for a university and have seen some horribly stained carpets come back to life. I'm wondering if this process included steam, what kind of chemicals were used, and if there were fabric brighteners involved. Either way, you guys did an excellent job.
They put that all down prior to the video. Probably let it sit for a day and then cleaned it. Try doing that to carpet that hasn't been maintained in several years lol
@@S14lopez1 yeah but I bet the real "cleanspots" have sharp edges where furniture sits. They f'ed up by trying to give the impression that furniture had protected sections, by not giving it sharp edges like couches etc would leave.
Hydramaster rx-20/cmx-20. I used to work for a carpet cleaning business, was trained and cert on hydramaster. Takes a lot of discipline to use a rotary correctly and get good consistent results.
flying potatoes omg I work as a painter and holy shit, some people live in the most disgusting conditions - not bc they are incapacitated or anything, I guess just bc they're gross or lazy. I have worked in houses where the carpets are just saturated in dog piss, the walls are smeared with God knows what, the fridge smells like death... you name it. It's so f*cking gross
Tenants did that to my rental then balked when I asked them to cough up £100 for the exact same carpet as a replacement. I picked it up and fitted it myself and they still considered it unfair. I'm not in the letting business anymore.
My kids did it to mine, I cant collect 100lbs. Or 300 bucks. I had to replace 2 bedrooms and a hallway, 760 bucks 5 years later they moved back home and did it agine.
OMG ! Animals lived here ?!?! I would just replace the whole thing, carpet and padding all together. Imagine all this SH#% is now dissolved in the water sitting on and under the padding beneath that filthy carpet, you just don't see it !
Sammie Dav that's what the suction is for! As the water is jetted down, the suction "draws" the waste toward the extraction slot at the front of the tool, rather than seeping straight down. So.... there is none under the carpet from the cleaning procedure. I am a carpet cleaner.
Looking at the walls, door, and the stairs, my best guess is that they had a fire and this is the damage caused by the water and fire department. I went through that earlier this year and it was very similar to the mess seen here.
Good job, and nice video. I'd want to use a full-sized wand instead of the stair tool, but to each his own I guess. Turned out great. Unless people actually get a chance to enter others' homes they really don't understand how dirty some places can actually be. Judging by the stair risers and that door I'd say this is full on legit. Keep up the good work!
that is what i was thinking - i would be inclined to change the padding to insure that it is really clean under foot other wise every step you take on that carpet would still be kicking up puffs of very fine dirt and who knows what else may be lurking in the padding
There was a large picnic type table on the left and a couch on the right. We hear that a lot, but I can assure you it was 100% authentic. Wanna hear the crazy part? This was the third time in 5 years that I had cleaned it. This time was the worst though. I could literally scrape crud off the carpet. Not dirt. I’m talking about built up yuck that I could scrape off with a spoon. I wish I would have videoed it because you would have really been shocked. Yikes.
If you are a professional carpet cleaner and can't tell that the dirt was put on the floor just to make the video then you can't be a professional carpet cleaner
I find it harder and harder to find a clean rental. I always leave my houses cleaner than when I entered. It is easier for me because I'm single and know how to clean my house properly. I'm always shocked how property owners or managers pass down a dirty house to new renters and don't use the security deposit from previous owners to do a proper cleaning and sanitation of the house.
Cass Ann I don't know how to tell you this but here goes. They keep the deposit and do the barest min so you'll do it extra nice. But charge them your first months rent. And record and document the place before you move in. But you knew that didn't you?
U should see the place I just moved into. I have 5 kids and the lady told me she’s pulled strings to get me in there and with 5 kids to take care of the place🤣🤷🏻♀️. So it was nasty a huge ring in the bathroom everywhere just gross, mouse crap everywhere. I’ve had it since March and still haven’t moved in I put blocks of poison everywhere and patched holes. Under the kitchen sink I can see ground they don’t care just left the shelves broke and most likely where mice are coming in from and God knows what else. Last house same crap and I also had a snake come in from under the dishwasher. Bcuz I had turned them in to code enforcement after 2 1/2 yrs of roof leaks I never unpacked bcuz mice. Long story short my 5 kids and I were kicked out. Oh forgot to mention the ceiling in the garage fell on me. But bcuz I couldn’t afford a good lawyer I had to move out CRLA is free but they don’t help that much. They told me I won bcuz I didn’t have to pay rent. Yet I still feel I didn’t bcuz my kids and I had to move in with my mom. My clothes, my brand new bed mice pissed and 💩 on. I paid no less than $400 in electricity every month bcuz the hole in the roof and old ac sucked. The carpets in the house I’m in now are filthy I took pics of everything just like the last house. I got all my deposit back from the last house like u said bcuz I left it in better condition then when I first moved in. Ridiculous they take advantage of ppl and mistreat them specially low income it’s just wrong! My mom wanted me to take it to the media cuz I have all my proof but I’d be to scared lol good luck I’d post pics of it but don’t know how
Wanda DScott yes you are 100% correct, over 18 months the home owners applied a tremendous amount of dirt to the carpets, but it wasn't us. Look I get it, people like you probably can't imagine ever letting your carpet get this dirty and therefore think we staged this. I would too. But the fact is I have cleaned this home 3 times now and with 12 people in their home and not the best cleaning skills, this video is 100% unstaged.
I swear I want to buy this carpet cleaner then go get light colored carpet and on purpose everyday just spill coffee and random shit on it just so I can use the carpet cleaner cause this looks fun to be honest lol
We hear that a lot, but I can assure you it was 100% authentic. Wanna hear the crazy part? This was the third time in 5 years that I had cleaned it. Yikes.
Really? It would have been better just to replace that little amount if carpet. Come on... That's just gross and foul. Leaving that for the next unsuspecting renter. No thanks
Barbyl W not really, you should have seen the waste water, it was black, black, black. Not saying that this carpet was perfect when we were done, but with what we removed it was 1000 times better. Thanks for the comment
Gideon, I'm guessing that you think this was staged because you can never imagine your carpets getting that dirty right. I understand perfectly. However this video was 100% authentic. And it wasn't just dirt, it was the worst build up of oily, grease, grimy dirt you have ever seen. The video is only 2 minutes long because it was compressed at 20x the speed. That means we spent 40 minutes cleaning about 200 s/f. Hope that helps you make more informed comments in the future. Thanks.
Devron Larson you honestly want me to believe that was a random dirty carpet?? Look at the before pics...no evident of a traffic walk way..expect me to believe 2 love seats faced each other, exposing the middle of the carpet to be tracked on?? Even the soil was dark, further INDICATING that this before pic was staged with outside soil then worked in to look like the stains were already there. Come on?? You can fool a potential customer, but not a cleaner. You scam artist!
Gideon Milkens, I get it. It's hard to believe because people like you/me can't imagine living like this. I'm not going to continue to try and change your mind as it doesn't really matter to either one of us. But I will tell you that this was completely authentic. Large table on the left, couch on the right (family of 12). If I were to show you the rest of the house you would have no problem understanding how it got like this, it was crazy.
I had my carpet cleaned and it looked amazing but still wasn't satisfied so i opted for Hardwood floors. Carpet cleaned the top but under the padding was over 30 lbs of fine dirt almost dust like. We do have dogs and they track dirt in. Carpet was only 4 years old when I removed.
I like the machine, this is injection procedure and not dry foam. I would like to know the brand you are using. Here in UAE we have Taski but I see yours more effective giving a great results
