Hi Kimmy. I’m glad you’re on the other side of that experience! WOW. I thought I had a high tolerance for pain also…until I had my gallbladder rupture. Omg! Worse than childbirth. I chuckled to myself when you were asked on a scale of 1-10 your pain and you said 15. When they asked me that I told them 12 and above. I do not want to feel like that ever again and I’m glad that you brought it up because I’m having surgery in January and I need to have a convo with/my surgeon and anesthesiologist regarding pain control-so thank you! I'm so sorry that you went through that pain. Every person is different with different pain thresholds. Possibly the surgery itself will affect pain levels. I explanted with capsulectomy on Tuesday and I haven't taken more than a Tylenol a few times a day. No drains. DD's back down to maybe a B. I would suggest for all of your viewers that they do extensive research. There are so many videos and forums on the different forms of explant. You can even have them taken out under local anesthesia (without capsulectomy). Dr. Khan does complete explant with capsulectomy en bloc under twilight and is getting wonderful results.
