This band and this song make me so sad. Only one of them is still left alive. Youth doesn’t last, no matter how beautiful it may be. Life passes in a moment and then it is gone. It is such a cliché and yet there is nothing more true. And good God she was beautiful, so beautiful that sometimes it even hurts to look at her. You could swim in her eyes for days. They were very much of their time and deserve to be fondly remembered.
Veres was a Roman Emperor who conquered and pacified Romania (Dacia) and Hungary. Her father is Hungarian. I'm wondering if she is distantly related to the Caesars? In her young days she had looks that could stop a Army.
Who was that host singing who invited her up onstage with him in the middle of the video? Andy Kim? Gad, we all get old. I prefer to remember her in her youthful beauty days.
You only talk about Mariska. And I agree, she was such a great singer and made the way for other female rock singers, BUT: Mariska's influence in music would never have been so big, if there weren't these great musicians around her. The guitarist is sick :)
