ridiculously talented squad and when you take into account it’s also the youngest team in the prem they could be a force to be reckoned with in the next year or 2! and on top of that they’ve still got 2 of the most promising 17 year old talents around to join the squad in the summer who they’ve already signed in Estevao willian and kendry paez
Becuz he's got this punchable annoying face and character which makes it easy to hate him unnecessarily.. He's a good striker and will develop to be a great striker
@f2g286 he's only 23 played lw and only converted to striker in the past 1.5 years and in his first season got 24 g/a. He's a bit inconsistent with his finishing at times but his movement and build up play is brilliant. He could become world class with a few more years of hard work there's definitely potential there
Nah his ball was crap, it was west hams defending was so shambolic how it got through. Ah but yeah, if KDB had played the same ball against stoke, it would have been world class no doubt.
On the penalty, any fan would obviously WANT a penalty, but I objectively would not be upset if the ref doesn't give it on the pitch and then VAR backs his decision because there wasn't much in that. Summerville threw himself to the ground instead of fighting to stay on the ball.
@@bruh-ic7sb don't give me that the law should be clear cut regardless who the ref is. If holding in the box is a penalty then keep it that way. Otherwise it causes controversy
@@Count_Jacula the law needs to be clear cut if you hold the player in the box then it's a penalty regardless and if the refs keep it that way players will stopp holding other plsyers in the box as they know they will conceed a penalty
Our game at stamford bridge against City we were supposed to get a penalty for the Kovacic handball but we were denied. VAR controversies happen to almost every team in EPL except Man City.
I think if you actually look at Jackson’s numbers it reads better than most people think. He’s almost scoring a goal every other game. No way am I saying he’s a world class striker but he needs some credit!!
Chelsea supporter checking in. Nico was easily man of the match. The first goal was a gimme...defense fell asleep and the goalie looked blindsided. Still, Nico made the run, had his head about him, and made it happen. Second goal, was all about a fantastic off-the-ball move by Nico to draw in the defender and then blow past him. Fantastic finish with the outside of his right boot. Third goal, he takes on his man, pulls the defenders away from Palmer and then lays it off to him for a relatively easy goal. Fantastic performance by him today. On top of all that, he came back to receive the ball a LOT, helping out the defense and midfield, and also pressed a decent amount too. The penalty...I'm kinda caught in two minds...it was definitely a penalty for me, BUT Summerville went down like he was hit by a truck and in no way did it look like he was pulled back with that force. If he would have simply stopped in his tracks and protested, I think he gets it. By flinging himself, it just made it look like simulation...which gave the VAR crew a chance to side with the ref for the no-call. Still, it was definitely a penalty for me. On West Ham, yeah...I really felt for Kudus...dude was all over the place and really made it difficult for our defense. Problem was, NOBODY else was up there doing anything. Guy was basically all by himself the whole match. Summerville should have gotten onto that first cross for an easy goal at the very least. And Kudus put in several other great balls...just nobody helping him at all. Guy looks incredibly dangerous.
You are wrong about Chelsea fans "knowing" we should have bought another striker. Chelsea fans are Jacksons biggest defenders because we see the difference with him on the pitch. I would rather him than Oshimen
Jackson provides a lot more than Hoijland on the pitch....technical abilities is where jackson excels at and that helps him get a lot of chances and also helps us a lot, like it or not chelsea are a better attacking team with him upfront
I would argue the reverse.. everyone should unite to say yes that isn’t a foul, so when a Man Utd defender does it or any other teams player does it, it won’t be given as a foul or penalty
Jackson is actually a very good player btw. People were asking for oshimen where the only thing he's better than jackson at is finishing. That being said jackson needs to be more consistent in that regard but overall play he's a great player
And the Man Utd bias shines through a bit here, I don't think Mark actually watched the game. Chelsea shat upon West Ham's chest in their own backyard. This game was not even remotely close.
That was no penalty and I'm not a Chelsea fan. aren't you guys the same arrogant fans who keeps on yapping "oh pReM iS tHe tOuGhEsT leAgUe iN tHe wOrLd"
@@Im_helpless yeah but Southampton is a bad team just like West ham so don't give it the big one Chelsea beat West ham a better team than Southampton fact
Not sure you are sarcastic or not, media potray West Ham as "winning the transfer", surely that's better than whatever Southampton could pull off especially coming back from relegation
VAR can’t re-ref the game. That’s what we’re all arguing for. It wasn’t a penalty because the ref saw it clearly and made his call. The lad didn’t go down because he was being held. He went down because Tosin was in charge of the situation. It was a dive, and the ref knew it.
Chelsea fan here… I think it was a close call and whatever the ref called on the field VAR should have backed. If the ref called a pen on the field, I don’t see how they can overturn that with those new rules. Personally, I would have called a pen but I think it was close
Mark overall take is terrible, seems like he didn’t watch the game. As for his take on Jackson it’s obvious Chelsea don’t want just a pure 9 they want a player that can contribute in all areas of the pitch which Jackson is one of the best in league.
I wasn't familiar with Maresca Ball Chelsea are playing really well and for West Ham they made all these signings just for them to have no impact Lopetegui isn't a good Manager but credit goes to Chelsea for their big win, Jackson is a lot different player from last season he has to play like this to keep his spot otherwise Osimhen to Chelsea will happen next season, these young players bring a lot of energy to Chelsea they have absolutely no issues for squad depth.
You can't compare our results Vs wolves and west ham to your wins Vs Southampton and Barnsely Cracking results and 2 goals 2 assists for Jackson - coming into his own now
As a Chelsea fan it was def a pen I was surprised when it wasn’t given live and when you actually see how long Fofana holds Summerville’s arm it’s laughable
