This is just a tip of iceberg. Almost all bakery in dimapur and kohima is not hygienic at all. Honestly I never have bakery things. The workers and the place of the bakeries are very dirty.
They didn't replace the item which have been there for 3 to 4 days and they resell the item to unsuspecting customers and making customers fool. Take a strict action.
Hahahaha who is this new manager? Born and raised up in Dimapur buying things from universal bakery since childhood! Usually bought jelebi samosa coconut pipe etc on Sundays while coming back from Sunday school starting from 2003 but have never seen this manager de! Looks like he’s been appointed just yesterday!
Please keep checking at theirs kitchens as well, I wonder how one person treat to another person for sake of money 😢they are ready to provide anything to consumers for sake of money ....
In Star bakery products we found large steel wool last year. Had it been dark my brother could have eaten it. But luckily we ate outdoor and save our life from that carelessness. When we complaint that bakery owner brought NSCN (IM) kilonser as backup. But we made them write an agreement that they will maintain hygiene in future.

Why do we need report from lab? If we know there is worm. Common sense nai? Or waiting for the media to remain calm after 14 days? 😂 As we know there is no proper facilities in Nagaland or advanced lab.. I think instead of postponing, matter should be taken under observation at the earliest.
This self styled Manager doesn't even have a little bit of remorse!!! I think he's not even a manager but so called Dada! Food safety inspector should immediately lock the bakery until proper investigation is done and the culprit is booked.
Dirtiest city in Nagaland. I never buy ready to eat items in Dimapur. The concern authority is also not serious with checking and so everything is unhygienic in this dirty, the so call city of Nagaland.
Seriously Dimapur is so dirty, cannot walk in New Market, Hongkong Market, Church Road and City Tower without wanting to throw up. I cannot say about colonies but main town is so dirty. I don't know how people purchase and eat street food in these streets. 🤢
Most unprofessional manager with no guilty feeling towards the consumers..still i know they would do the same s like before coz they are taking things likely be aware n do tried to avoid going in that bakery..
This is so unfortunate. I've been a regular customer of this Bakery since my childhood and I have never found any such things ever, this bakery is also very hygiene comparing to other bakeries i visited and I know this owner as well he is indeed a very hardworking father. Mistake can occur sometimes during works, you guys here shaming and defaming like their intention is to kill public,even JESUS once said Let him who is without sin cast the first stone. I guess all keyboard warriors here hasn't committed any sins yet.

It is all because of the carelessness of the food safety authority in the state. They should go for surprise checking on all the food processing units in the state. This kind of establishment should be locked and cancel the certificate and not allow to do the same business again.
Some people never wanted to forgive others not thinking if others did the same to them for their unknown mistake.... it's not an intention work they should have forgive them not make the case big if they apologize .. God knows what goes around comes around ....

According to the manager I don't think they check the flour or clean before making the final product. Raw material should be check and clean before making the product. It will be good if the reporter take ground report on their kitchen how the making process is done and also we can see whether it is hygienic or not.
Please check how the cake are made in bakery in Nagaland. I was told that all broken eggs from egg seller and supplier are used to be taken by bakery Owner to make cake at throw away price. They charged the price of cake as high quality product but if the food quality is not maintained as per fsi act then public health should be in concerned.

Action should be taken as required. But we Naga's have become so sensitive. If there was something really bad inside, okay! But for a small worm. Puff was not even rotten. Just the normal worm we find in everyday vegetables, rice, etc. Once in a bluemoon, this things happen. Idk about the bakery's history, but if they are just running well with no complaints for the past years. Why try to bring someone to bankruptcy just for a tiny mistake?(which is not even the owners mistake. Maybe or maybe not).
