I agree with you buddy, we always have to strive to get better and push the limits. You definitely have been doing great stuff buddy. I look back now and this is only my 3rd year really into this thing and i can see huge improvements just in myself since last year. I think this year SF is going to be wicked!!!!
That short dowel piece for the chain brake is fun to keep up with. I cut a replacement just a hair short that worked and then found the original hiding on the bench. Almost bought the kit from e-place. Best I could tell, the cover holds it in place cause the c-clip takes up space and pushes on the cover. Like to see how you fought the spring too. Hope to see the correct fix, I just guessed.
On the 385 your chain looks tight and not getting oil, look at the sparks on the vid when cutting. Sounds like you’ve got an air leak, better get the pressure and vacuum tester out…first check that new throttle cable is set in there correctly on both ends 😉. She pulls good, good to see the dyno results.
Hey Smitty, what shipping company do you use to mail chainsaws? I tried UPS and they wouldn't do it because the saw had gas in it. Tried to explain all the gas was out and what ever was in the lines was ran through the engine. It was wrapped in a plastic bag and everything. So let me know if you can. Thanks
I use the post office locally to send Arron my saws..I use boxes and wrap it up with stuffing packing bubbles. Or sweatshirts over it.they don't care if it's a saw..dump gas and use compressor to clean it off..wipe her down ..I believe they come back ups..or usps..never had issue..I've sent saws to couple you tubers
