Got invited to fish a derby with the Bass Bandits of VA on Chesdin last week. Had a great time, it was a very welcoming club and I look forward to fishing with them more in the future.

Killer 3 fish and you won too. We went on a California delta bass tournament and caught no fish. You can catch bass on your days off of work but on the day of the tournament, you can’t catch a break

First never use the word lucky when you were blessed also your a very skilled bass fisherman that you don't give yourself no where near enough credit for Matt! Nice Matt! Right bite is often the difference. How has your EVA foam deck been holding up in your opinion? After having boats with carpet and this one with foam do you have a strong preference?

I definitely prefer the EVA foam > carpet mainly because of how fast it dries and how comfortable it is. That being said, fresh carpet is pretty sweet too...but I don't think I'll have another boat with carpet anytime soon.

Try the solid ringed eye Gamakatsu superline hook for those paca craws and other ewg plastics. It hooks them deep

@@SBFishing you would initially think it does, but not only does it give the bait better movement, but it also hooks them deeper in the cheek area most of the time. Switched to them 3 years ago. Seth Feider spilled the beans on that hook. It gets the job done
