OMG Robyn, I'm going to have nightmares now and a creepy film maker somewhere just got a new idea for someone living in a house filled with this kind of furniture. Brrrrr
That would mean there's a living breathing person is in the house with you. Fight em off. Super natural beings won't be effective to thermal measures. Hence it won't record them, besides, they're always around you anyway haha 👀
Exactly. These are definitely going under ART piece collection for those who have huge amounts to spend for such things. But we have to give it to designers though. These are incredible masterpieces.
Depends if they live in a city centre where the housing costs get more expensive for less space. But in my opinion a lot of them where very over priced, when you think of the materials used. Basically you're paying for the design effort.
@@TheaDragonSpirit Yes. Because as we all know- designers don't have to eat or have a roof over their head during this phase of designing their work....So that cost should NEVER be included in the cost of any final product! That is just done for charity! LOL!
I mean a lot of these things are a thing u only buy once every 30 years so...bet they hold longer than ikea stuff...And a chair for 8-16 persons for 800 dollar is not much..Just imagine how many single chairs would cost xD
you all probably dont give a damn but does anybody know a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost the password. I love any assistance you can offer me
@Chaim Louie I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I've seen a lot of these before, but what made me like this video is the fact that you actually gave sources and gave your viewers an idea of where these items can be purchased.
Imagine being on that rocking bed with your partner and you’re about to fall asleep and then bam!! They turn over and you feel like you have just fell off a building....
I know and a lot of people here in the comments seem to think that's a high price. I was surprised by how inexpensive most of these were. It's still a lot of money, but for the beauty and design of these things, I would have thought some of them would be even more. I paid $5000 for my large sectional couch for example. That's just how much things are.
Ok. So some of these combine utility and aesthetics spectacularly; but way too many just go for unnecessary aesthetics at the cost of utility (and cost way too much to boot). Like, why would you need a wavy cabinet? Would it not be a pain to try to open it wide? Also, I'm 100% sure that these fancy designs wouldn't last as long as a simple designed one because there are so many moving delicate parts. Eventually those joints and struts and what not are going to ruin the function of the piece as a whole.
I want to thank you for changing the "Amazing" cartoon guy at the beginning so that he is not as loud. I used to mute the video until after he yelled because I found it very unpleasant. Now I think he's kinda' cute.
I weigh 330 pounds (150 kg). I do not believe that *any* of those chairs will support my weight. I don't care what the narrator says. Believe me, I've heard the sound of cracking chairs often enough to know what I'm talking about.
The last table was beautiful. I didn't care for the one with heat changing paint. The last thing I would want on my table bench is an imprint of my fat ass.
Just get something similar for 139.99 at amazon. Like this: RESPAWN 110 Racing Style Gaming Chair, Reclining Ergonomic Leather Chair with Footrest, in Gray
My mom bought one like that 20 years ago - despite my dad's headshakes. Now he hogs it every night and often even falls asleep in it, and she hasn't managed to use it for years 😄
I have owned a Balans chair for 30+ years. It is fun to watch people recline in the chair. You can see the panic in their eyes as they feel like they are in free fall. Once they calm down they want to fall asleep. It is comfortable and supportive.
When I saw the foam cabinet and shelves, the first thing I thought was hiw you could NOT have any pets or kids with those in the home. They would be destroyed and dirty so easily.... All chewed up and gross looking and they're already droopy too. Lol
I was thinking the same thing. Even if you didn't, they'd be filthy and germ-ridden in no time. Can't dust 'em can't wipe 'em down, an allergy nightmare.
@@earndoggy true, and it's worse if u live somewhere windy/dusty, the dust bunnies would cling to it so bad. unhygienic especially if ur putting dishes into it.
I am impressed with the versetality of these unique pieces of furniture. However, as someone who is deathly afraid of water (having escaped drownding) any furniture featuring water themes is not an option.
Look up poured resin or epoxy tables, you can make one pretty easily for a couple hundred, instead of paying $25k. There are tons of tutorials on how to do it, pretty easy too
The 'abyss table' is my fav.. functional and gorgeous. I'd have to put a model of one of the deep sea exploration vehicles at the bottom though with LED navigation lights.😁
So much of this stuff is just me going, “that would be a bitch to clean, that looks hella uncomfortable, that’s hideous, what?! A foam china cabinet?!? That’s so gross! You can’t...how do you keep that clean! It would collect dust and you can’t use a rag on spongey foam?” As I’ve gotten older, I’ve grown to detest things that were designed to “make a statement” and subsequently fail to make the piece both functional and beautiful.
I don't know - some of the designs take an incredible amount of engineering, imagination. craft and expensive materials - they are genuine pieces of art. Just because we couldn't afford them doesn't necessarily mean they are overpriced.
Like overpriced art. 3 vertical lines. 2 outside blue, one inside red. $47,000,000. It's really big though so that makes all the difference. National gallery in Ottawa. Voice of Fire. Pathetic humans.
First of all the bookshelf on the wall looks ridiculous. Makes me dizzy. Also the “soft cabinets” are pieces of foam. I think that has to be a joke. And why is it that I only see these pieces on RU-vid videos. Never I have seen any of these pieces in any furniture store.
The chairs that look like art pieces would make a small waiting room into a room to hold many, and I love the concept of the hush pod but if I had plenty of money, and lets face it, you'd have to be rich to afford any of these pieces, my favourite for sheer beauty has to be the last round expanding table. I think I'd wear it out in the first few days just opening and closing it, it is so lovely.
Honestly, I don’t really like it, it looks like ur right on the edgewhich makes it seem uncomfortable. Anyone else agree wid me. Or I’m a alone on this xD
Nothing last forever, the more moving parts the less is going to last, you paying unique creativity, nothing more and make those people pockets fat fast. And almost forgot...tell me how you do when you drag furniture all the time on your floors unless you use wheels or any other method to minimize wear and tear.
Nobody said the furnitures would be cheap. It's a list video on creative chair designs. And while the regular chair is fine as it is, nobody is forcing you to buy these. Just watch. Design comes at a price even if it's not about tech.
Here's my story: I was born September 27th when I was six years old my parents split up and I wanted to kill myself but I didn't because of the people around me they loved me so I went on if my family was not there I would not be here to turn 7
