General question for ADV Riders. Whats in your toolkit? What are you prepared to fix on the trail? TBH, I dont normally carry a spare chain link but I think I will going fwd!
I think I’ll add a spare link as well. I usually have a spare clutch lever and a link is so much smaller so why not? On the GS I carry a spare rider in the panniers. Some assembly required.
You nearly have me convinced to buy one of these. You guys were tearing through those trails. I’ve hiked over there but never rode it - not much of a trail rider, but I’d imagine those little bikes would be a hell of a lot of fun up there, not to mention confidence-inspiring being able to throw the around like that. AWESOME video!
A guy pulled in the parking lot before that ride and gave us his number saying he had two 90's for sale...if ur interested txt me and ill give u his number. Join our vintage biker gang.
Great job fixing the chain, one disadvantage of the sub trans variant is it's much harder to access the front sprocket! I carry a chain breaker tool & spare links. On longer camping trips I take a spare chain & sprockets...
Yeah, we put the bike in gear and turned the engine over with the kickstarter to help thread the chain...alls well that ends well. This was supposed to be a quick mid week fun 2 hr ride...lucky we had a link.
I honestly turned the banter volume down to entice people to skip fwd, lol...In the cases when you are sitting in a pool of water, theres no reason to go home early, ur in it now, hahahaa!
@@perpetualmoto I’m in it for the dialogue for the same reason I like a song for the lyrics, not the beat. It was poetry in motion here and that line was truth.
Brad - Thanks so much !!! - Awesome you guys having that extra chain link. Great fix on the trail. Just that little mis-hap will help make people think !!!!! Those Honda Trail bikes are like freakin Pack Mules - they kick ass and are awesome !!!! Thanks for letting us ride along !!! Cheers !!!!
