Shocking police footage captured the moment a Lamborghini thief raced through the streets of Los Angeles before crashing. Suspected driver Elliott Dugan, 51, was pulled over by officers on April 6 at around 5am, initially because they spotted him sleep at the wheel while at a stop light. After the cops ran his license and registration, the officers found he had multiple felony warrants and the supercar was reported stolen. #thief #lamborghini #policedashcam

This was in LA man, we all know how it works out there; he could've just surrendered, been out the next day, come back for court and play oh woe is me my childhood blah blah blah, and they slap him on the wrist. He's dead now because he's an idiot, he chose to slam his foot on the gas and crashed because he clearly couldn't handle it, hopefully he didn't take anyone else out in his final act as the town idiot.

You just measure the distance in the footage and then calculate how many frames the car was in view of the street cam. If the camera sees 160 feet of road, and the car crosses it in 1 frame at 60 frames a second then he was going 113 miles per hour cause at that speed you go about 165 feet per second. Dont know the actual measurements of the cameras/roads, that's just an example of how you can figure it out
