There was another report I read today that mentioned the bone found first was a shoulder bone, so it would explain why his body would be able to float through to the pump station.

I live here, within a few miles of location. Traffic is non-stop all hours. This is between the highway and a strip that runs the length of the bay that everyone goes to just "cruise". Anyhow, not unusual for traffic at all hours. I used to work as a hospice nurse 24/7 and I've seen it with my own eyes. And PS, I don't know if shrooms were involved or not but in this town...... we don't wear shoes 😊 seriously.

Oh my gosh, I had no idea that many people fall into manholes!

Maybe a dare to climb down there and fell in perhaps.

On another true crime channel, they mentioned LE has video of Caleb walking by a bank (Simmons?) at about 3:30 - 340 am. at the corner of Hwy 357 & Holly Road, when he could have met someone off-camera after passing bank and took a ride with them. That actually would make sense because if you wanted to do something bad to someone, you wouldn't want to pick them up right by their place and be spotted...you'd want to pick them up elsewhere. I d-o think the original meetup/car pickup spot was the bridge that Caleb sent a pic of to his friend (his father said that Caleb did that a lot to his friend, unbeknownst to his dad, there's evidence that Caleb was meeting people at the Reddit forum every night and I think he sent where he was going to be picked up to his friend for safety reasons). Caleb could have walked to the bank from his place and the bridge, change of plans from the people he was meeting, via Williams Drive (his last 3:12 am phone ping), been picked up via car at the bank, ended up being killed, and body deposited in the sewer by his house? Yeah, there definitely was camera footage of Caleb walking by a bank at the corner of 357 & Holly Road sometime after 3:00 am. I agree, I don't think they will ever find out what really happened to that poor boy. A cautionary tale for young people who may think they are invincible.

I always thought that last photo was taken because Caleb was grabbed. He either took the shot or the phone took it on it's own.

There's a newly posted People Magazine story with CC Deputy Chief Billy Breedlove giving a whole different timeline regarding the manhole being open. He said the manhole was open when Caleb went missing and that they think he may have fallen in. I'm frustrated because the information in the article is not the same as the information given in the interview you went over.... two different police officers saying two different things.

So does the amount of decomposition match how long he had been in there from missing to discovery? Or could the body have been dumped later?

Very very sad… but do have to say as a parent I would want to have him home passed and found. Then having to wait any longer to find him. Prayers for his family.

I think his roommates played a prank on him and there was an accidental death. None of his roommates looked for him or spoke to the media afterwards. Why would they clean his room and go looking for his tie, belt and shoes laces in the room and outside in a field/woods, as if you appear that they were concerned he would commit suicide. Prank, accidental death and attempted cover up.

You do know if you go on Google maps and Google a spot where his Instagram last took a picture if you look down I'm not sure which way it would be to the left or the right over the bridge there is a homeless person in a tent that's camping along the water did anybody figured ask them maybe if they saw something

Possibly he was walking the dog, victim of hit and run. Maybe the image he sent of the bridge was taken in an attempt to capture the car that hit him. Quilty party came back to see what they hit, disposed of his phone and put him down the manhole then or at a later time.

Did he have the dog with him when he disappeared?

I just can't see him walking very far with no shoes especially walking in that field even if he was meeting someone and somewhere in that field was the meet spot. We all are missing something. I can't see him falling on accident in that pipe or man hole either. If the photo of bridge was a meet spot and he sent it to friend as a clue and then the meet spot changed why didn't he inform friend with a new photo of new meet spot? Nothing is fitting together😢

whats weird is grey uncovered other cases not in same area but another 2 pp found in sewage one in texas i think. how did he end up in there it was foggy just really bizare. like that actor that got pined between his car and mail box car malfunctioned had recall on the jeeps prayers for his family and his friends soo tragic.

It has been confirmed by roommates his Uber Eats was a lunchable, drink and snack to take fishing the next day. They say he always brings that order and he was supposed to meet 2 friends for fishing at 7 in morning

If he was walking the dog on a leash and fell in wouldn't the dog be in there too or maybe slowed his fall? I have to think there was foul play involved in this, it doesn't make sense that as you're walking you can fall in straight as an arrow like that. Caleb looks like such a wonderful young man, so full of life, he reminds so much of someone I used to know. So sad for this outcome!! If it was foul play, I hope they are able to find out who, what, and why. RIP Caleb!

I wonder if the building was locked, could have been broken into for who knows how long- City would be responsible, he could’ve fled, hid or fell in., just walking around if the manhole was open making land owners at fault. Therefore we may never know because the guilty party will never admit to being responsible.

I don't care what they say. If he met up with a stranger there was foul play. I feel the same way about Riley Strain. I don't understand with the technology today that they can't solve these cases & just say no foul play that they could find. It's very sad. RIP Caleb 🙏🙏🙏

I still think he just fell in, and the search was not as complete as it should have been. And his phone went dead about the same time because it either broke or got submerged in the water. I think he was out wandering around and taking photos while waiting for his food. He probably intended to meet the dasher at the entrance rather than make them find his exact apartment. It's the most probable scenario with the verified facts that we have been given by police. I do not think it was foul play.

They only found 2 rib bones that's what took so long with DNA. I am from Corpus Christi resource is close to the case. They have not recovered any other remains at this time. There is no evidence of what happened without recovery of rest of remains.

Also he is barefoot? He walks into the sorghum? Maybe to go to the bathroom?

Sounds like he was robbed of the dog n clothes or whatever and probably tried to fight them off but they did something to him. Curious about the uber driver.

If they searched it thoroughly and so forth as they say that means that someone went back after they searched that area and put this body in there knowing a week in advance there was a hurricane coming bringing lots of rain so that leads me to believe that it was a murder hello do they not snap to that ccpd is a mess fr i live here an know first hand with a friend of mine who was murdered
