Drakes father reminds me of my father. When I was in middle school I wanted to be a model and actress. My aunt got me an agent we started the process. My father was adamant that I not be left alone for a second. In general he was very protective of us. This man, divorced from my mother who was constantly trying to distance us as much as she could from him, tried to do as much good as he could for us with the little time we had together weekly. He would stand outside of restrooms and wait for us wherever we went, make us wear all matching t-shirts at events, and bought us firefly cellphones to make sure we could always contact him. He was there for us physically and emotionally, taking our phone calls in the middle of his long day of immigrant work hours to sing us to sleep. When I watched The Sound Of Freedom I knew that I could have never ended up abused under my father's watch because he never left us for a second. I was so overcome with emotion and thanks to my father that I called him to tell him how lucky I know I am to have had him protect me. Last night after seeing Drakes father break down in tears I called my father again. So so blessed. I thank God everyday. Father presence is SO important.
People always talk about “mother’s intuition” but no one believes men’s intuition even exists. No one knows men better than men so when we say someone is sketchy, fucking listen. That’s why we’ll see a girls new bf and pick up that he’s bad news but no, we’re just “crazy” or “overreacting”
My dad literally has the best intuition ever. He was true about everyone in my life. Could see what will come even when I did not believe him. With my mother it was always different, she was abusive towards me and never had a good intention towards me, she loved everyone in my life who did something bad to me…
What hurt me the most was that the Dad specifically asked the mom to not leave him around that pervert alone. Yet, she let him go to his house and have sleep overs. It’s absurd to think he even got a second chance after those terrible things he did. Broke my heart when he talked about how everyone was supporting the abuser and in the letter they blamed him for “tempting” him!!!! Absolutely freaking disgusting the things these children had to experience.
Sounds very common especially when it’s a woman that was SA. I have no idea what’s in ppl brains but I’m glad I don’t think like that. It’s pretty sick
It was the fact Drakes mom just thought he was a homophobe, and might’ve done it to spite Drakes dad acting like a classic ex wife to make mad not knowing who that creeper truly was.
7 years ago exposing them at that!! So why Dan and Brian are not in prison? 2024 and now it's okay to speak out? Something is not adding up, makes you wonder if the Elites are about to do something to all of us......
@@MeadowsMiniFarm it is. Right now the current kids on the program is doing exactly same thing till they decide to open up the issues for the next 10+ years from now. Plus there's another documentary called "An Open Secret" by Amy J. Berg that came out in 2014. History repeat itself.
The mother is disgusting for letting this happen to her son, did everything in her power to keep Drake away from his father who’s could help him, then comes out saying she was “as much of a victim as Drake was”.
Part of the de-masculinization and demonizing of men from cultural Marxism in America. Like third wave feminism which is just blatant misandry. Strong, masculine men protect what's important to them. Weak, toxically un-masculine men not only fail to protect anything, but are much more likely to hurt others instead. Creating a self perpetuating "blame men" for the actions of the ones that fell victim to the feminizing propaganda. The one sided family and divorce courts. The schools that punish any masculinity in men. The society that shows most fathers in TV and movies as worthless deadbeats or complete morons. It's disgusting. It breeds this wicked environment. Wickedness that seeps in when God is absent. We follow eerily similar footsteps to Israel as they fell away from God in Biblical times. Down to the same molten images; metal statues that represent sin and the worship of spirits, aka demons. This particular event would likely be closest linked to 2 particular spirits: Ba'al who pulls away from God with promises of riches, wealth, preying on greed. And Ashtaroth, who destroys the sanctity of marriage, sex, gender, and is responsible for nearly all immorality linked to them, preying on lust and the empty void inside all of us where only God can healthily reside and furthering the disconnect after Ba'al's arrival. Followed after by Molech. Feel free to ignore me if you think I'm coo coo for coco puffs :D
Yeah. I remember being creeped out by a building super. He gave everyone the creeps. Our front door lock was broken and I lived on the first floor of an NYC building. He knew my mom worked Long distance and sometimes crashed elsewhere with my grandma if train routes were no good. I was freaking out being 15 with a front door that won't lock by myself. Couldn't sleep at night. He wouldn't fix the door but kept being creepy daily. Told my dad, and he believed me. No gaslighting. Then I eventually called screaming terrified to the landlord that was a Holocaust survivor. He took me very seriously but I didn't notice it at the time. Shortly after, the door got fixed and that super was very sober the whole time. A short while later we got a new super. I didn't connect the dots. Later I found out the landlord asked around to hear what other women in the building were saying as well. Not to mention the super had a bunch a buddies he'd regularly invite and get drunk with. We were all glad he was gone. Thank God for men recognizing what some women are oblivious to.
His mom should actually be charged. She was a negligent parent, for real. I mean seriously? Letting a stranger be with their kid? 🤦 I mean at least have an aunt or uncle at the very least watch over her kid, but no. She allowed her son to go on tour, go to disneyland, and have multiple sleepovers? I mean just there it's already weird. Heck I wouldn't even sleep over with a friend almost everyday, at most once or only if ever I don't have a choice 🤦 What a bad mom
As a male victim of sexual assault (twice) this was extremely triggering but powerful to me. I feel so much sympathy for Drake Bell and all the victims and their parents who went through the shit of these awful people.
Imagine being a mother who not only ignores the warnings your ex husband was giving you but hand delivers your son to his abuser on multiple occasions. I'm glad I had a real mother. Also, how can you not tell your child's father what happened so that he could be there by his son in court. This lady sucks. Sorry to Drake but seriously what a terrible person.
Kids need to be kids is the main problem that would always be there too. Regardless whether this weird junk was going on. When they're teens you start helping them grow up, but even then those teen actors have a warped setup that isn't teen
Wholesome fact. The child actors for Bingo and Bluey in the Australian kids show “Bluey” have been kept anonymous for their safety. I find this fact such a breath of fresh air.
What’s twisted is that the mother did not bother to tell his father himself. She was proven wrong, but still selfish. His father could have helped him more if she just let go of her pride.
It’s interesting that even in the early 2000’s, people were still accusing others of being “homophobic” whenever they called out someone’s creepy and inappropriate behavior.
Identity politics and political correctness has always existed Identity politics = Tribalism Political correctness = catering to female sensitiveness and conflict aversion
I'm surprised as well I thought these kinds of unnecessary allegations to prevent people calling out general abuse were a very recent issue and to now it has lasted this long is heartbreaking
The most disgusting part is that all these pedos have their little club and protect eachother! (Often referred to as pizza gate) The fact that his Disney friends hired him to yet again work in children's tv after he only got *16 months* in prison for child molestation is corrupt and disturbing! Put these men in jail for life!!!! I wish all the child stars well and hope they're doing okay, especially Amanda Bynes, Drake Bell, Brandi, Alexa Nicholas, Jennette McCurdy and everyone else who went through hell!
Friend, Dan Schneider has been with Nick since Goodburger. The sheer AMOUNT of dirt he must have on SO many people. Dan can never go down because he has the goods on too many who would go down with him. I don't think people appreciate just HOW connected he is.
It’s heartbreaking that some parents push their child into this and expose them to the horrific abuse often associated with "child stardom", yet only 15% of the child's earnings is mandated to be set aside for their benefit - the rest can be spent by the parents.
No it’s heartbreaking that our society hates men. How many more stories have to come out before the courts stop blindly saying “no child should be separated from their mother, but the father be damned”. This all could’ve easily been avoided the father had a say in his child’s life
So they can make money but not have to work for it. Most child stars have trauma. It's just like Tik-Tokers who make their child trans for Tik-Tok revenue
I think the "set" is dans home. The antique radio in the back of booger makes me think so. The zoey 101 episode "the radio" was dans actual radio from his personal collection.
It's disgusting to see how children were exploited and the consequences they had to endure. It's tragic and heartbreaking. I hope videos like this raise awareness and bring about changes to protect children in the industry.
No, it's why kids need proactive parents. My mum would never have let this happen to me. I would never let this happen to my son. I don't even put photos of my son on fb set as private, my sons father (despite my insistence not to) has public photos of my son on fb, and Instagram, and has used his photos on the dating profile too 🤮 Not all men have the childs best interests at heart
And there was Allison Mack who played Chole Sullivan in the hit series "Smallville". Allison was arrested then incarcerated on charges of sex-trafficking for a cult named NXIVM, a cult she belonged to and was very much a part of personally. Such a wholesome-appearing series like Smallville and there was "Chole Sullivan" right in the middle of it.
the interesting thing about the Smallville production is Nick and Paramount's current CEO is Brian Robbins, he was part of a production company called Tollin/Robbins Productions that was not only involved with Smallville BUT also various Nickelodeon shows such as All That, Kenan and Kel, The Amanda Show and even Cousin Skeeter. I'm not going to fault either of them for what happened since we don't know how active they were when it came to the sets but IF they knew anything about this meaning the toxic Dan environments then they should be held accountable as well.
There’s no evidence that she was sex trafficking during Smallville days.. I don’t think she’s innocent, but she was also brainwashed by Keith Reniere, that’s why these cases are so difficult, people who are groomer end up grooming
I don’t think I’ll ever get over Allison Mack’s involvement with NXIVM. I hear she has woken up and wants to make amends with all the women and men that were a part of NXIVM. I hope that’s true.
Drakes dad utterly shattered my heart, he tried everything in his power. The part that really struck me is that guy worked YEARS to get to Drake. Bidded his time for YEARS... took out the threat of the father, built trust with the mother.. took over drakes career, school, life...
The horrifying thing is pedophiles do this on the regular. This is such a common strategy-isolate the kids from their parents. They will go to great manipulative lengths to do it.
The thing is these horrible stories aren't new in Hollywood. Shirley Temple was pumped up with drugs at like 8 years old, and that was decades ago. Dew Barrymore was a coke addict at like 12, that was in the 80's...
I’m sorry but Shirley Temple was never pumped with drugs. MGM was notorious for drugging their actors so Judy Garland was but not Shirley. She was at Fox and was extremely protected by her mother. I recommend you read her autobiography Child Star.
It’s important to highlight the shortcomings so future documentaries have even more opportunities to build and help expand reach and make bigger impacts
Trying to be No. 1 can have very little to do with it. Regardless of the topic or their intent, a shoddy production can still ruin the effect they're going for. There's no need to stop people from critiquing how they produced it so long as those critiques are valid.
This is heartbreaking. This is why there are so many child stars that go off the deep end later in life, and the fact that this has been normalized by the industry is sickening.
As a 34 year old woman, Nickelodeon was and will forever be my childhood. We (as in lots of fans of Nickelodeon) knew of some rumors and how Dan was a creep. To have these things validated and THEN on top of it, confirmed really hurts. We all know what Hollywood is like. It's just heartbreaking to watch and hear these stories. When I watch certain shows now, I see the innuendos, the adult jokes. It's shocking that Dan was allowed to say and put these things in. Dan is a creep. Brian is a p3d0. Things have to change. We need to protect children. I like the Ned's cast. I like their podcast. The jokes were inappropriate and not funny. Devon apologized. And I'm happy he did. Just because these things didn't happen on their set and had their parents there, they should be some sympathetic. I think they used humor because of the uncomfortable nature of everything so I am willing to give them grace. But this entire documentary situation is so sad and my heart breaks for these children
@ThePeacePlant It was known online. Twitter. Facebook groups. Twitter. Tiktok too. If you watch old episodes of the shows Dan worked on, you see all these things. When Amanda Bynes had a breakdown and Jamie Lynn Spears got pregnant the rumors started.
The LGBT community has given SO much cover for these people, rarely speaking out against this sort of thing and in fact encouraging it, such as the San Francisco Gay men's choir song "We'll Convert Your Children".
Yeah, for people who care about the image of their community so much you'd think they'd hunt down these creeps and separate themselves from them but they protect them??? Frustrating
Are u kidding? The LGBTQ is very outspoken against predators. I’m subbed to a gay dude who has covered many vids about child abuse including this one. We can’t scapegoat everything to gay ppl, especially when it’s false claims. Most of the ppl defending these ppl are not random gay ppl but greedy higher ups who don’t care about the safety of children. That’s how these predators still have positions of power. Besides, gays know more than anyone else that sexuality can’t be changed or altered by external factors. This is a completely separate discussion from gay people
@@kofuku1660the movement was taken over once same sex marriage was legalized. It no longer advocates for gay people anymore, it advocates for the TQ+ and soon the P part. Sad really but it is what it is.
The adult jokes in kids shows extends well beyond Dan Schneider's shows. Even the cartoons like Ren & Stimpy, Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, etc were littered with adult jokes that flew over the head of kids. This wasn't even a Nickelodeon exclusive thing as Cartoon Network shows like Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, etc had adult jokes littered throughout the show. So while Dan is/was a creep, this was unfortunately just how kids shows were written back in the day. So I can't place all the blame of the adult jokes on Schneider as that's what the industry was doing at the time.
I remember some of those shows and a few of them were not meant for young kids. Ren and Stimpy, Johnny Bravo and Powerpuff Girls were supposed to be for the preteen/teen market. They were Hollywoods first attempt at something Anime had already mastered, the Shonen and Shojo. Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z are the audiences they were trying to hit.
The mention of cartoons makes me wonder: When will the peds hiding on sites like Deviantart/Pixiv be exposed and brought down? Because these freaks make "art" (if you can even call it that) of children involved with fetish material: inflation, feet, drowning, etc. And if these people are debased enough to draw this stuff... how do you know they aren't involved with the real thing?
I remember hearing a story years ago about how a karate instructor kidnapped one of his pupils. They found them and the boy admitted to investigators and his parents that the instructor had been sexually abusing him for years. Well, the father had enough and waited for the instructor to be brought back. When they passed the father, he (the father) took out a pistol and killed the instructor. There was an uproar about the father getting charged. He got a few years in prison, the defense attorney saying that it was a crime of passion.
If you pray, please pray with me for these child actors to heal, and once they've healed, to become absolute warriors against this evil. We also pray that the creeps and those who turned a blind eye get justice and never have the opportunity to hurt another child as long as they live. Thanks and amen.❤
@@VolatileHunter2same. Not a Christian but a different religion and I said a prayer for Drake Bell after watching his episode. He deserves peace and happiness and I pray that Brain Peck and all those like him, meet a very painful end.
That docu series was a hard watch. Glad Drake is rebuilding his life. Hope he can stay sober and be able to move on. I’m glad he was able to reconnect with his dad
If only the world listened. However, if it wasn't visible or scarred, then it wasn't abuse. People say Gen X is hateful, I wonder why. 🤔 *sarcasm* See in the 80's if you asked for help from the cops, teachers, your friends parents, they asked what did you do to deserve what you got. The answer to why Gen X are the way we are.
Nobody should ever be blacklisted from Hollywood for talking about SA but perpetrators of SA should be blacklisted from Hollywood. What a backwards world we live in
@@thatvalensteingirl Corey was being threatened, discredited and dismissed...it wasn't about money or attention. Hollywood is a powerful machine and no one was supporting him. If only more people had his guts.
@@silverzip8292 I'm Gen X. Don't lump us all together. What's going on now is worse. There are people and the alphabet mafia who are grooming kids openly. Naked men dancing in the streets in front of minors. Drag shows for kids. The ones protesting these things are the ones who get arrested. It's like it's legal to be a ped0 and groomer now. I wonder what Drake thinks about this stuff. Or the others.
When i was little and living in OC (just like Drake), my mom had a couple agents come up to her while wed be out shopping about auditioning my brother and me for stuff. It made me so mad that my parents would give a hard no. Good god am i so happy my parents were as firm as they were.
I would never have let my children get into acting or modeling. Mess with my kids and they won't find the body. Even now when they are adults I will protect them with everything that I have.
I saw a clip of Drake’s interview on Instagram and my heart broke. My son is 16, I can’t imagine something like that happening to my him. I can’t stand people joking about child abuse, it turns my stomach that people think it’s a funny thing to joke about.
I just finished watching it today and I’m absolutely appalled. I understand that parents didn’t want to hinder the kids careers but I cannot fathom how they just handed their children over. Never trust anyone with your children . May God help heal Drake 🙏🙏
When I was working in the movie business..a acquaintance whose young son was an aspiring actor asked me for my advice…I told her “never leave him alone”.
LOVE YOU SO MUCH My mom watched this and told me always be aware about who you are with because it’s always the people you think WOULDNT do that to you stay safe
Dan was a freak, all of the child feet stuff, like iCarly and the episode where they cover their feet in ketchup, his idea, the episode where Ariana Grande shoves her toes in her mouth, also Dan, Dan is weird, and honestly I believe he is a child abuser, regardless of what's confirmed.
Of course Dan Schneider is gonna stand on drakes side 4:48 that’s what creeps do, pretend to be on the right side until they flip around. They want your trust until they can break it.
My thoughts exacly, classic PR crap "I need to be seen to have this opinion or align myself with this narrative to hide my true feelings/intentions" ect.
Except that went against basically all of Hollywood who, of course, sided with the molester. Drake only had Dan in his corner, well him, Drake's brother and his "mom" who allowed it all to happen
This just makes me appreciate that the Netflix show Bojack didn’t hire child actors in order that something like this didn’t happen. Also Sarah Lynn’s character on the show was definitely a sad reminder on what the entertainment industry does to children and that it needs to be stop
@@goldenknightsfanatic yeah Netflix is definitely a mixed bag. Though they didn’t technically made cuties they just distributed it to a wider audience, but still terrible on their part.
I was talking to my husband about this, and he said that predators ALWAYS prey on kids with absent/weak parents, or on kids with single moms/absent fathers. I saw this play out in kids around me growing up too. Predators are very predictable. They surround themselves with kids and play the long game. They truly do view children as prey.
When I watched the documentary, I was upset because everything that was done behind the scenes on these Nickelodeon shows was textbook abusive and predatory behavior. Child predators actively seek to separate children from their parents, guardians, and other protectors. They create facádes (sorry about spelling) of trustworthiness and do what they can to get close to the children. Then, they pounce and manipulate the child into doing whatever they want them to do. This is exactly what happened with all three convicted predators.
The fact that he still thought she kept him safe says some really bad things abt drakes mom never telling the dad what happened because he deserved to know everything going on that's is a really messed up situation
As a, now, 40 year old man; I have to say that THESE were NOT the heydays of Nickelodeon. Those would be the 90's and, possibly, the first decade of the 2000's. With shows like Legends of the Hidden Temple, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Alex Mack, Clarissa Explai s it All, Pete and Pete, Rugrats, Aaah! Real Monsters, the list goes on and on and... All of that is to say, was this going on in those days as well? Nickelodeon was always, obviously ran by adults, marketed as, "For kids, run by kids." I have not yet seen the docu-series but was curious. Thanks for the great content.
And Keanan and Kel! They were a scream. I'm 38 so I remember those days too. It's awful to think that couldnhave been going on to those kids who gave us such fun and joy.
Dan Schneiders work in Nickelodeon started on All That! In thr 90s. He eventually made Keenan and Kel^ and then Amanda Show, Drake And Josh, and the reign continued.
Ned’s just made an entire podcast apologizing for the situation. They hadn’t seen the documentary when they were live and took full responsibility for speaking on it at all before they had watched it. I usually don’t believe apologizes from celebrities but Daniel cried about it and it seemed really genuine.
These kids sacrificed their childhoods and all chances of having a normal life, to help make millions of other people’s childhoods and lives memorable. I grew up with these shows as a child. I remember as kids, we admired them… a lot of us wanted to BE them, to live a life that seemed really enjoyable, surrounded by people who loved us and many fans, beyond our wildest dreams. It’s heartbreaking to know what they went through behind the scenes like this, taken advantage of by the people who should be guiding and protecting them. Such awful people behind the scenes. 😢 May they find peace and closure. In a way, the greedy actions of these bigwigs managed to destroy the childhoods of not just their actors, but also the childhoods of everyone who grew up on these shows, now finding out what‘s been going on for decades.
NDAs are void if you cover up illegal activities. Anyone who will make you do something illegal in a contract is void. They can't bring up the paper saying whatever they said can't be used because they signed an NDA.
It took having kids of my own to see all the wrong in "kid" shows and movies. I just wanted to share things I enjoyed at their age and then quickly realized how it shouldn't have been labeled for kids.
I think all of our hearts broke when we saw Mr. Bell TELL Drake's mom "Do not let him around Drake. For ANY REASON". And she did anyway. We heard him TRY with whatever authority he was left with, and she was just... careless. 💔 I hope he knows how much he is supported as good father.
If you listen to some news conferences with Sheriff Grady Judd in Florida, Disney does hire shady characters who already have criminal backgrounds in this stuff. But people still back Disney.
Disney has had shady business all the way back to the start of the company, Walt Disney wasn’t a saint that the current company tries to portray him as. However he would be asking for everyone’s head from the modern Disney company.
Something I really didn't like about the docuseries was how they wedged in stories like "Dan kinda sorta looked at me weird so I think he cut me from the show because of racism" and "he passed me up for a promotion in favor of a man, such horrible misogyny" right alongside stories of actual child grooming, SA, exploitation, etc.
Sure, getting passed up by a male writer isn't necessarily misogyny-but this documentary had some pretty crucial additional context. He illegally paid the two female writers half a salary, made sexist jokes disrespecting a woman's ability to write, and sexually harassed them *repeatedly*-then fired one, threatened the other, and finally got the other to quit after singling her out from the male writers and humiliating her. They were replaced (not refused promotions-replaced) with *inexperienced* male writers who got a *full* salary. And the racism claims also had context. It wasn't "he looked at me weird." It was "I was ignored, had someone make a racist comment, and my first role was 'drug dealer.'" It all fits right in with a very important part of the documentary which was the horrible work environment Dan created and what a creep he was toward women. I get that there are a lot of people who cry wolf, but these were people relaying some very real discrimination-*especially* the women. A man who respects women does not force them to pretend to be sodomized. That's sickening and traumatic, and it absolutely deserved to be addressed.
I agree. The focus on Dan was completely disproportionate compared to the focus on the literal child molesters. I understand what the other commenter is saying about providing context for the environment, but thr amount of time and focus on it isn't necessary. Grown ass women being treated unfairly pales in comparison to little boys getting molested. The main bad guys in the scenario were homosexual men who were abusing little boys and women (aka the mothers who threw their children to the wolves) so the film makers went "oh but the straight white guy was giving women weird looks. Let's talk about that for a bit longer to balance it out."
I totally agree with you, and also, how he still has the spotlight, when there was nothing that one couldn't find in a 4chan post 15 years ago about the guy, and the other SA criminals are already forgotten...
I thought the same and wondered why they focused on Dan and all these things he did in comparison to the horrors others like Bryan peck committed on drake
No television station is left out, what happened on Nickelodeon happened on the Disney Channel and on other channels, there are certainly many victims who never exposed anything, at least that's what gives the impression
Dan preferred the young actresses; only reason Drake had such a positive experience with Dan. Seriously do a deep dive if you’re brave enough & see how often employees of Nickelodeon (& Disney) got arrested for crimes against children & immediately went right back to work at the studio. They did nothing to protect the kids but everything to protect the predators.
Disney still hires these types of people to work in their theme parks. Sheriff Grady Judd has news conferences about arrests. He is very forthcoming and tells they are working at Disney. But people keep backing Disney
Ok my question is how could all those ppl been in court to support brian peck? If im not mistaken usually minor cases dont let people into the court room for privacy for the minor.
Ok, after seeing that clip from the Ned’s cast, I have lost some respect for them. If that’s their first response to this whole situation, I’m sorry….CHILD ABUSE IS NO LAUGHING MATTER! I’m disappointed in Devon and all of them for that comment, Devon stupidly saying “We shouldn’t joke about that”. Yeah no shit Sherlock, you shouldn’t joke about that! It wouldn’t have been funny if it was you in the same situation!
Candace bashed Jewish people for months and accused Israel of a 'genocide' 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️. Only why would you refer to the war against Hamas in that way!? I used to love her but this current ignorance is painful.
My dad was like this - he was so protective!! But - abuse STILL happened. Don’t let your kids have sleepovers please ❤🙏🏼‼️ it’s always the people you don’t suspect!
If you think Nickelodeon is the only place where management treats their employees poorly... you're sorely mistaken. I've worked at plenty of companies where managers thought it was perfectly acceptable to curse at employees and deride them for the most minor 💩. The lack of professionalism in US companies has been a problem for a long time.
I watched the series last night. Some really disturbing stuff going on at Nickelodeon. Drake seemed to have gotten the worst of it from Brian, his acting coach. Brian is a pedo and a groomer. Reminds me a lot of what's going on now with kids today. Don never touched any children inappropriately but he was still abusive to the female staff and kids. And, yeah, there were creepy sexual innuendos all in "All That". Ariana Grande on the bed seductively pouring water on her neck moaning and giggling. "Pickle Boy" Brian put a large pickle through a hole in the door for Ray Romano, who said he needed food. The smile on Brian was majorly creepy. Any parents thinking of getting their child into Hollyweird need to watch "Quiet On the Set" 1st.
Many believe that Dan was doing the same thing to many of the girls, mainly Amanda, and supported Drake to throw suspicion off of him, after all why would he go against Brian if he was doing the same thing
This documentary broke my heart and I felt hurt alongside Drake. I witnessed the aftermath of what Drake went through with a younger friend from my childhood who went through the same thing. It was traumatizing. I am angry and hurt. Everyone except his dad failed Drake Bell.
The fact that Drake’s father tried his best to protect his son while still supporting his dream but failed was so heartbreaking. I still couldn’t believe that one mother that didn’t call the cops when a crew member sent her daughter that email. That absolutely shocking
Did you know that in Icarly and zoey101 Lola and Carly’s bf were 18, 20 and I believe 23 and Victoria was 13 ish and Maranda was 16 I believe ik Nicole Nikolas (zoey101 actor) explains it all Brett I recommend you check her out
I’m glad that conversations like these are becoming more and more common because they’re not necessarily pertinent to just the entertainment industry. I’m sure there are a large number of regular people who know someone that was taken advantage of by a person in a position of power.
I felt this too when I watched it. It left a sour taste in my mouth because this is such a tragic story that should be heard but still gets sucked up into today's politics
Please stop devaluing others' experiences, especially because you weren't there. It could or could not be true, so you can't assume one way or the other. You're not helping.
In 2003 they had the “Are you All That” contest to pick a new cast member. I remember asking my parents to sign the waiver/permission slip for the contest. My Mom said, the wording was insanely scary and refused to sign because she was worried about my safety.
Why isn’t anybody talking about Brian Peck was a huge fanatic for the serial killer John Wayne Gacy? They exchanged letters and advice. My blood ran cold after hearing that.
Drake Bell deserves a public apology from every single person that was supposed to protect him and turned a blind eye. Starting with his mother, co-stars, and all Nick execs. Also, all the media outlets that reported on his most recent court case because of the way they twisted the story for click bait. They called him a groomer, even though in court it was proven he was deceived and when found out the girl's age he stopped all communication. They defamed him and ruined his career which was all he had left after all he went through. The majority of people in America still see him as a child groomer, so much so that he had to leave the country in order to be able to walk outside. I know Mexico received him with open arms and his fan base is strong there, but America is his home and the media took that from him. Nickelodeon stole his childhood and the media stole the life he could've had as an adult.
