Many many people deal with addiction issues but would never assort to killing an innocent person. This is part of their character, deep down.

YES, as a teen i worked at a club, addicted to coke , i was generally a very angry person...and coke never made me do anything like that. These people are just monsters getting caught up in the moment and then decided to take advantage of it.

There isn't a perpetrator on this planet that hasn't got an reason/excuse for the things they do, very few take personal responsibility for the misery they inflict on other peoples lives, the blame always gets shifted somewhere else

"I got mad. I went crazy and I pushed him out of the car. Outside." Katie seemed strung out and haggard. She made that statement with no emotion. She used Troy to support her drug habit. Troy's profound disability check peeked her interest.

They didn't show enough of the whole conversation with the officer to know what they were talking about at that moment IMO. Her brain was so fried she didn't remember where she'd gone, or that she'd driven through a gate. How is the cop supposed to know what she'd hit if she couldn't tell him? Asking about a guard rail is smart since it would give them some clue to look for to indicate where she'd turned off the road. You have the benefit of knowing the whole story after the fact. He has only what people tell him to go on. And for the record? Yes, people do lie to police. Try to be more empathetic and thinking about that officer responding in the moment.
@yesterdayitrained

@@playingwithstory247100% agree. We already know how the story ends before watching these videos- but all of the people involved in the situation in real time do not have that benefit.

Yes, i'll subscribe; I do like her take. But my favorite is the deep dive that includes crime-scene investigation. I liked the one with the 3-d re-enactment of the crimes; it was animation, so no gore, but it did take you step-by-step on how it happened. I just only found a few of those.

Brittany is a a murderer. Cold blooded killer. Drugs are just a reason to explain their behavior. She's had time in prison to make excuses for people to fall for. Hoping she'll get early release because it's not her fault, it's the drugs.

He said that over the phone. When the cop showed up he could of repeated himself but he didn't. There have been occasions when I've called the cops for someone and when the cops get there they change their minds and say everything is ok. You're only getting half of the story. Not the details. You don't know what else happened or what was said.
