Pricing plays important role. I was looking to buy a clutchless car with good ground clearance. 1) went to tata: quality was an issue 2) fronx:not value for money, overpriced just to continue sell Baleno 3) booked exter, features, engine, value for money Hyundai is much better than tata and maruti.
i fail to understand the micro concept of the suvs , so unfortunately not biting the hoard, pass all :P ,like you said "uthie hui sedans" , naaa ray naa naaa 50 50
I have an Exter, purchased it on 21st July, it's giving me an average of 9-10, maybe due to new engine consuming petrol in the first month. I find it's average like Creta. Drive quality is amazing, especially the gear shifta are less noticable than Punch (it's horrible). Although yes you can feel bump due to less ground clearance, but ride comfort and especially handling is amazing, very light stearing. Overall very happy with my purchase 😃
Would you recommend it for person travelling inside city daily ~40Km? I'm more concerned about mileage How much do you expect mileage to increase in your car in coming months? I hope you are not rash driver What were your other options of car while buying? Why not Magnite/Kiger/Brezza/Swift/...
@@OfcXyz Hi, I think the mileage would go up by 16-18 as company claims 19. I would suggest going for a CNG version if your running is around 40kms, although I personally drive more than 40kms but I preferred an AMT version. I got this car for 10.5 Sx (O) without connect tech, I tried Brezza, Swift, i10 and Punch (took me 3 months to research 😅).... Brezza was over budget, I didn't like Punch tbh as the engine was not up to the mark. Exter is a great balance of features, comfort and engine. So I would highly recommend it.
@@OfcXyz I even had booked i10 Nios Asta.... But when this was launched I cancelled the booking and switched to Exter as this was the right car as the right price. i10 costed me 9.8 LPA, Swift ZXI Plus was 10.2 so this one was still better price wise

Did you even watch the video? MID showed 16.3 Tankfull to Tankfull was 16.6 It is a credit to Hyundai. Most cars generally show fake high values in MID.
1)If you want to survive a crash go for tata punch. 2) if you want to survive a crash with minor/ major injuries go for exter. 3) For instant death go for fronx

My experience with Exter AMT. Over 600km trip with city+highway+2 hour traffic on highway +hills drive, it is getting 15.2kmpl. Before I stuck in highway traffic it was getting 18 KMPL. For just daily drives of 10-20 km in tier-1 city it is getting 11-12kmpl on average. For less congested tier-2/tier-3 city it will get more.
My friend’s Tata Punch gave 22.5 kmpl average on highway. And in city it gives 16. Which is quiet better than Exter. Also the suspension of Punch are much better.
You can extract any number if you drive sedately and in higher gears with any car of this segment. Though i don’t in such inflated numbers, but if your friend can extract over 22kmpl he can do it better in Exter with same style of driving.
How horrible would be the mileage with 4 person. My new Santro which is an entry level car gives the mileage of 13 on highway with 3 person and 2 kids on AC. Mileage is the main concern in Hyundai cars. However the ride quality, engine and cabin noise, clutch, interiors are so smooth and amazing. Its fun to drive hyundai cars .
Agar aapko real average nikalna hai to subah 9 baje Dahisar se Nariman point jaiye aur shaam ko 7 baje nariman point se Dahisar drive kijiye. I don't think it will even cross 10/11 kmpl
It all depends on how light foot and gradually increae speed.. i get around 18km/l in Punch AMT in delhi ..i drive daily 60km.. little nlage but safety is utmost.. planning for Tiagi/nexon ev
The Mid variant of exter is expensive compared to Punch mid. Most reviewers only show top varaint. Mid variant misses a lot of features. Which is better as per price ? Punch or exter ?
@ICN I think ek review proper wala Ignis ka bhi hona chahiye given the fact ki woh bhi practical and isi segment ki car hai. Also one of the best VFM out there.

Full tank to full tank should be done this way. 1. Full tank drive for one Km, top up again, note start reading. 2. Top up tank, drive for one Km, top up again. Note this exit reading, subtract start reading & divide by total fuel filled all four times. That would give you the exact reading
I think if you live in a city with excessive bumper to bumper traffic, AMT makes lot more sense. If your patch doesn’t include that much, even a Manual would do. That too is quite crisp in terms of shifting, but Hyundai’s clutches seem to get harder over time.

Ignis any day only because of its milege.sincw you mentioned limited travel and that too in city personally i would suggest car with good milege.and also its not your primary vehicle.
confused between nios and exter . difference between nios sports and exter sx is almost 2 lakh. also worried abt exter suspension issue. saw it at showroom as well.
It’s actually not that big an issue. Job of a suspension is to travel, if it doesn’t and stays the same that means you’ll have a super stiff ride and you won’t be able to drive it even on regular potholes.

मैं अभी 2 महीने पहले ली है मैन्युअलहै बाकी ऑल ओवर परफॉर्मेंस ठीक है अच्छा है लेकिन माइलेज में थोड़ा डिसएप्वॉइंटेड पूरे सिटी में यह सिंगल डिजिट में माइलेज देती है और हाईवे पर भी 10 15 20 कि के एरिया में अगर गांव आते हैं तो इसका माइलेज 14 15 से ऊपरनहीं जाता हां एक बार मैंने 350 किलोमीटर कीमुसाफिर की थी जहां पर दोनों तक अगर कोई गांव नहीं आता है सो था सो किलोमीटर ऐसे ही चलती रहती है वहां पर एम आई डी माय 22 तक का माइलेज दिखाया था और ऑल ओवर माइलेज भी 19.5का आया था
