A strong legal system provides robust protection against most forms of discrimination.* 3. There are plentiful jobs which pay well and have safe working conditions. 4. Freedom of speech is valued and respected. *Your understanding of "discrimination" may be different from ours here! The "cons": 1. Acquiring a US visa is a notoriously difficult, expensive, and time-consuming process. 2. Depending on where you live in America, summers may be oppressively hot and winters brutally cold. 3. Your cultural values may clash with those of America. Homosexuals can marry here, and you may see openly gay couples in public. 4. It can be very expensive with medical care, child care, insurance costs, etc.

Out of the logic I got in Arab countries like Saudi Arabia,, Qatar,, Kuwait etc... I think the discriminant is not from race rather basically because of religion.. since according to the Quran Muslims are warned not to be friends with non-muslim and basically to set a massive boundary.. so that's the reason why they are like that... So for anyone who migrates to such countries I think it would be better for them to learn Arabic as well as have fair knowledge about the Quran inorder to blend in rather than being a skeptic to your own religion,, that's what makes life difficult in Arabic countries but if your a muslim things aren't that bad in those sides of the world

If you see a badly damaged country and you look at the people living there . Look at their houses, streets , pavements then look at the people , children , domestic animals , etc etc you shall see it all fits . They achieve what they are. People migrate for different reasons, many in these countries especially in the gulf are there to build capacity so as to make moving to America, UK and Australia and other better European countries more affordable and assured and do so with a softer landing and so far it has worked and working out well for so many... As you know moving to America and Canada has not always been easy and affordable as it is with some of these countries and in reality the quality and cost of life and healthcare in many of these countries are not as bad as those in the west assumes. So if you're in America, Canada or the better others, you shouldn't see others moving here as short sighted or desperate.,. Our black skin alone is enough to serve as targets for discrimination in most countries around the world. Even among ourselves in Africa, there is greater preference for fairer skinned people than darker toned ones. It is the sad truth and we have to accept it's not going to change anytime soon. On the subject of immigration, for me, if you have something good going on, it is better to stay in your country, push hard and make it big. You can then use your success as a leveraged in other countries to create even more opportunities. I have had friends who have sold their houses and properties just to migrate only to meet certain difficult realities on the ground. Again, if you migrate to say the USA, you loose some of the exchange rate advantage. Earning say $ 3000 a month in the Ghana for instance is better than paid $ 5000 in the States. This is because you spend and are taxed in dollars when in the States whereas Ghana even if you are taxed in Dollars, you spend in Cedis. Some professions however makes it a bit bearable and sometimes even advantageous to work outside a home country like in the health and tech industries. Travelling permanently to another country is a life altering decision and needs a careful consideration.
