Lower scores and more fairways will make you the golfer of your dreams with these three easy steps.
I hope you enjoy!!

Nice one Stuart. Been following your channel for a while now and I’m gradually getting there - having to unlearn quite a lot. I call this left hand under the right during the backswing the “switcheroo” when I work at the range - it feels like I’m counter rotating my left arm at the beginning! But it only works if I have a strong left hand grip - otherwise the left wrist bows too much as the club shallows. Hit some amazing crisp irons there. Find it quite difficult to keep going on the course as it feels so different I keep going back to my bad old swing when I see an OOB right 😩

Thanks so much for being here Nick, appreciate you being here my friend. Keep layering the change Nick and it will stay around for 18, enjoy the process and the challenge, hold on to those great shots and let go of the bad. They won’t be here forever. 🙌

Very much like how Leadbetter had Faldo swinging in his pomp. Remember Faldo saying he tried to feel like he got the shaft standing vertical halfway back so it felt light, then it shallowed slightly in transition. He did ok didn’t he!

I watched many of your videos recently over and over with great appreciation and i realized what you are trying to teach is Leadbetter’s A-swing move, maybe a mild version. Could you comment on that? I tried many hours of basement practice to perform the A-swing move but failed because I ended up with over the top pull slice. Your new grip and left hand release pattern helped me a lot and I think I am getting there. Draw is a hard shot for me I played with over the top pull slice all the time and tried to decrease the bend of my slice to more controlled fade or power fade. I enjoyed your driver fade lesson changing ball positions forward to decrease spin and also with little bend. Could you please give us a similar lesson on fairway wood or irons. I read throughly A-swing book also Nick Faldos Swing for Life. I think you are the best teacher of golf swings for average golfers like me and thank you very much.

Thank you for the kind comments; I’m doing my very best to share my views and don’t really wish to comment on what others do as I’ve never followed any golf coach or philosophy by others so I am ill informed on the A swing you reference. Hope that helps.

Although strangely, i had done a lot of left arm only swings, my ball striking really improved when i started doing right arm only swings But i think you have to be quite strong or you could injure yourself! maybe best start with a tennis racket or golf shaft

What’s your recommended feel for closing the club face? Seems open as it lays off but you don’t have any trouble squaring it into impact.

I came here from your video about moving the hands out towards the target line. I went outside and hit over 50 balls with wedges focusing on moving my hands on the down swing out towards the ball and then moving the hands around my body through impact. I discovered that the shaft gets parallel to the target line as well as my shoulders. Once I began to make the move correctly I hit very straight shots and when contact was more pure the distances were excellent for my 74 year old body!

The more I watch your content, the more it makes sense! I am recovering from elbow bursitis, but should be able to fully swing next week and see how all this works! Right now, just been taking half swings in the back yard, but even those have a very different ball flight! Thanks again for what you do my friend!

I understand the handle moving out in the downswing but it is also moving down at the same time, so there are two forces at play. The out, whilst helping to shallow the shaft, also helps with the rotational movement but I'm tempted to ask which feel comes first? The out or the down. As an oldy with a shorter swing, there is much less time to manage both the out and down in harmony. Any tips on that problem? In case I haven't said before, I'm a lefty but your instructions are so clear it is simply a case of reversing them. I have a sneaky feeling you could probably swing a golf club lefthanded as well?

@@GoodGolfCoaching At the setup, how do the grip and the straight line down the left arm and shaft affect the golf swing?

Lower’s the right shoulder; angles the spine away from the target, allows lead hip to lead amongst many other things. Hope that helps.
