The Apostle Paul advised young Pastor Timothy not to be quick to ordain new Christians as Pastors. A practicing gay person for 20 years must have very strong Christians around him for a very long time to pull out of the gay community and lifestyle. Sheldon is right, you cannot rush the Christian transformational process. Our spirits are saved instantly but our souls and bodies are being saved, thus a daily and continuous process.

I've noticed something interesting about Sheldon and Scanty - they have a strong inclination towards the gospel and are ministry-minded. For instance, Sheldon once said, 'After God blesses you, pray for sexual discipline.' This kind of thinking is uncommon for someone with a worldly mindset, but Sheldon's wisdom is remarkable. It's surprising to see individuals who are deeply rooted in the gospel sometimes behave inconsistently with its teachings. Similarly, many musicians who sing worldly songs actually come from a background of Sunday school and choir.
What exactly are you driving at?? It is 'interesting' that Sheldon and Scanty have an inclination towards God bcuz of what reason? Do you know them personally? He needed a strong spiritual father to mentor him. Things of the world are enticing and so he needed to be continually engage in spiritual activities because been totally transformed takes time. If you become a born again, it doesn't end there...that's when you become a target for the enemy. As it has happened like this, multiple of the previous demons have possessed him and this time it will be extremely difficult to accept Christ again.
When a demon is casted out, he goes to look for a place to stay and if he finds non he take 7plus him and come back to see whether where it was casted out is still free, making the situation even worse. He needed to stay in the secret place to be pruned. May God come through for him

This guy has been openly gay for 20 years, which means he has been deeply ingrained in that lifestyle. However, he has now become a pastor, which I believe requires ongoing supervision, guidance, and refreshers, even for well-groomed pastors and bishops. Growing into a new role or identity is a process that requires nourishment with the right resources and support. Just as our bodies need the right nutrients to grow, our spiritual growth requires the right influences and relationships. The devil never gives up and is always looking for ways to lead us astray, so this guy needs a strong support system, including a father figure and positive influences, to help him stay on track

Sir, I get what you say. But my point is that we are making a topic and judgement out of it because it's shown in broad daylight. What are we doing secretly, even worse than this, that no one talks about because no one except God sees ? For any addiction related topic, we have to understand that we judge people easily because in that particular domain, we are not vulnerable. But we may be extremely vulnerable in other areas, not to the sight of men, so no one talks about it. Only a thorough and devine intervention from the Most High will lead to a permanent state of repentance !

There’s no such thing as “changing from gay” ! Being gay is not a lifestyle, it’s who you are. Being gay is not synonymous to sleeping around, going to clubs, piercing or being promiscuous. It’s who you are attracted to which cannot change unless you tell me that y’all straight people can wake up one day and decide not to be straight. However, the real deal here is getting to know Jesus Christ and living a life that pleases him regardless of who you are. The level of ignorance in this comment section is preposterous. People explaining things they don’t understand. Being gay isn’t something you can just practice whenever you feel like and stop when you’re tired. It’s who you are! Just because he stopped all sexual activity with other guys doesn’t mean mentally, he stopped being a homosexual or started liking ladies like it’s a miracle. It’s like when a “real” straight guy wakes up one day and says he would stop liking ladies as well as stop all sexual contact with them. You know that would be impossible because it would just be a matter of time before he starts missing ladies. It’s the same with gays but people don’t understand this because they believe it’s not natural or that it’s caused by a spirit. Some people are just born that way and no amount of prayers and self-denial can change that.
He just ddnt need baptism and ordination. He needed consecration and cleansing before he should have even been ordained. They were just in a hurry to make him a servant but he needed to be a sheep for a while until he was firmly grounded.
