It's called the U110, and it's one of those cases that seems to be sold by random retailers on Amazon which is a good indication of something that's in house designed and mass produced straight out of China. That's not strictly a problem, but that all depends on what you get, and how much you need to pay to get it. Good thing this thing is dirt cheap. But is it still worth it even if it's cheap? As with all questions, "no" isn't necessarily the answer.

These compatibility issues make this case feel like the review AV Techy's been training for for years. Issues that might have stopped another reviewer dead in their tracks are analyzed and handled. It was a fun ride to the finish line!

Haha, too kind :D Thanks for checking this one out. I'm not sure how it will do view-wise, but something about this case made me want to check it out :D

What a pretty case. And cheap too. 💗💓💞💕 Thanks for the review. Edit, seems the hearts are not pink in some versions. They're supposed to be pink, so just imagine they are if they're not. 🌺

Aww... what a shame regarding temps, acoustics and the PSU situation, I had high hopes for this cute case. As always, thanks for the very thorough review!

Yeah, a bit of a shame all round. I can imagine it's not too bad for a lower power gaming machine, perhaps an HTPC. But not for anything more unfortunately:( Anyway, thanks for checking this one out! :)

Since the GPU is installed upside-down, don't forget to check the "Invert display vertically" option in your video driver.

Great review as always. Looks like the case is quite a headache and not worth whatever potential cost savings could exist.

Thanks man. Yeah, I agree. Good from far, but far from good. It's deceptively promising, but doesn't deliver with those hidden costs.

I looked into it, it's 110€. I guess the price was wrong or something. I just wanted to build something with leftover parts on the smallest build because I will be getting on a boat for almost one whole day a week, and this "30€ case" would have been a good one, but there are similar ones for 50~70, so it isn't too much of a loss.
@AVTechy
@AVTechy 2 года назад
I think the price could range widely depending on the time and part of the world. It's no longer in stock on Amazon where I picked it up unfortunately.

G'day Av, Good to see another upload, It is understandable that as the Channel is a Hobby Adulting will need to come first, while inside is a bit messy The Finished Build looks neat with the sides on, I agree the original "WOW! Only £27" for this case is a bit misleading for how Completed Build Price will end up due to needing a PCIe Ext. & Special PSU (Especially for 500-600W)
@AVTechy
@AVTechy 2 года назад
Glad to finally have something to upload! It's been a while... too long for my liking. Adulting is a bit rough at the moment. I'm a bit stretched thin, but hopefully I can find some balance soon. I agree, the finished build does look good. And yeah, it's those added extras that really kill the value aspect.

Silverstone flex psu are notorious loud. You can get a Enhance 7660B from Velkase (USA), Geeek or Overtek (UK) and they're much quiet.

Silverstone 600 is one of the quietest flex atx stock
@saddlesore_adventures
@saddlesore_adventures 2 года назад
It would be a no-brainer and instant buy for me if this case was made to fit sfx... But with flex it's just a garbage, as that PSU standard itself (at least for home usage it is)
@AVTechy
@AVTechy 2 года назад
Same here. If it could take SFX, I think it would have changed the tone of the review a fair amount. Flex ATX is a rough trade off.

Nice case. Heres an intresting one for you-the" itek Evoke", which is basically a little larger Coolermaster NR200... But the plot twist is that it takes Matx mobos and atx power supplies. Yet still very compact.
@AVTechy
@AVTechy 2 года назад
Sounds like a really interesting case. I'll see if I can get my hands on one for a review :)

It's a shame that it wasnt one of those cases where expectations were surpassed. Thanks for a video (this and others too, I just bought Lian Li Lancool II Mesh thanks to your review!)

Yeah I was hopeful too. I think searching for diamonds in the rough is something I want to do most on this channel so maybe we'll find something better down the line. Anyway, glad you liked this one and the Lancool 2 Mesh video. Hope you enjoy more upcoming :)

Um…that’s a very specific color. In further inspection it looks like someone used jonsbo‘s factory while they didn’t.
@AVTechy
@AVTechy 2 года назад
True, it does look close. Luckily the Jonsbo cases seem to be a little better thought out on the cooling side of things (and just about all the other aspects). Maybe I should get the similar version and see how it compares.

Is that a guess, or are you referring to a standard? Genuinely curious to know what the standard is and what the dimensions are.

Its like buying a cheap printer but the ink cartridges cost through the roof. Its also a bit too awkward to use it seems.
