I really like how simple yet ingenious the transformation looks. Most toys would just have the legs combine into an uncomfortably thick handle, but this figure splits the individual legs apart, turning the outer halves into the handle and the inner halves into the back of the gun.

I paid about $200, I don't regret it. I know there's others that are surprisingly cheaper, but I wanted the real official thing that I've wanted them to make for so long. I'm a Sockwave fan, it's the only G1 voice it seems I can do.

I love shockwave and his design, but I honestly prefer when he has a different alt form. In my opinion the "turns into a gun" gimmick doesn't really work unless it's a real world gun. The laser guns just usually look like the robot in a yoga position.
